I have around a half a dozen of these., and have used them for years. They look nice, the packaging is fine with me, nothing wrong with it, and the boxes are nice if you need to store other smaller items. As far as sound? I doubt they are any better than what comes with the device you are using. The main reason I purchase them, is that I can get exact sizing for say my subs, it is nice to have a short power cord that I don't have to coil up and try to hide. Just the right length and they look good. Same with my new little Pangea Vulcan audio rack, with the rolling casters, a two meter cord is perfect when I need to pull the rack out to clean. All are the exact same length so I know exactly how far I can go before gear starts falling on the floor. And then the number one reason I buy these, my cat loves power cords, or anything with a soft jacket, he will chew. These Pangea cables, nope, he wants nothing to do with the jacket on these. And yes, I know I can use the automotive plastic split loom, which I do use on my Mogami XLR cables behind the rack. When I buy any cabling, I try to make sure it has that nylon braiding on them, it just makes my life easier. And the speaker cable, I simply get a roll of that braided PET sleeving, I get the blue and black so they match the Pangea power cords. They are good cords, I will continue to use them and purchase more in the future if a need arises.
