You certainly earned your keep in this episode! My biggest fear dvring vehs like yours is the massive tail swing! 'Easy get round this corner'. Scraaaape! Usually the poshest car in the st parked right on the corner for scrape bait. Great vid mate.

ANYWHERE inside the M25 is automatically a 12hr shift.. 😂 and the majority of side roads are 7.5T without access/loading..makes it a pita to find somewhere to turn round😂 take a 45 before you go inside the M25..then you've got a clear 4hr30 to get in and get out👍

It depends where you've come from, if you have 2.5 hours drive time and you enter the M25 you should be fine. If you're going into central London, then yeah you want a full drive time. I'd be more bothered about the London Lorry Control Scheme & ensuring the company has the relevant permits to be going through them. Or London can turn into a very expensive endeavour for the driver.

Nice one Kev.. I used to do up to 17 drops in London with paving slabs in the 1990s with a artic 3 times a week with just an A to Z ..no Sat Nav or Phone.. I don't don't miss it.. Stay safe Drive.

Good video - and well driven in those tight East London streets! As a road traveller myself, I was listening to an intereview with Dan Walker (when he worked in sports for the BBC), and he said that John Motson had given him the best tip re the need for an emergency toilet. Go into your local supermarket, and find the biggest economy bottle of Lenor fabric softener you can find (you are looking for the biggest opening size of cap, which makes life easier and safer). Empty of contents, clean out with water, and drop a small amount of bleach in the bottom. Easy to use, comfortable, and no one will ever attempt to drink Lenor - Good Luck!

Only if you allow it to be. My company goes there daily. So long as it's well planned and you know what you're in for, with congestion and constantly stopping for traffic lights it can't affect you. And your own time keeping is vital in London if your next drop is an hour away on your satnav & you have a 1:05 hours drive time left, you know to get your break in early or you'll end up with a drive time infringement.

Enjoyed this video a lot as it reminded me of when I used to do a lot of drops in East London many moons ago! Glad I don’t do them now! Quite happy with my school bus runs nowadays! Although they can be very tight to get too at times! Keep up the good work Kev and keep safe! 🙂👍🚛

Thank you for posting. You really earned your money on this day. You should carry a suitable bottle to pee into. Stop pull the curtain instant stress relief. As an older ex driver I think this is the best advice I could ever give you! Anyway enjoyed the vlog and would say driving in London is either fun, or a nightmare.

I used to be a bin lorry driver so going tight estate like that was my speciality, but i could never stop thinking if a fire engine has to in for a burning house....if I can't get in with the bin lorry sure the firefighters can't. People just abandon their cars not even parking at that stage

My favourite is when the Recovery or Balif arrives with an airlifter crane to lift all 4 wheels Merc or BMW off the ground believe they are called a Hyabb crane lift

Would it not be a better idea to buy a 3,5 tonne flatbed with a winch and towing frame like the AA use,to pick up cars from these narrow street's, and drop them at a central point for pick, like a trading estate ? A locall contractor could pick up out of hour's as well

I spend 7 years driving HGV all over London and one of the biggest problem is yes finding the toilet😢 CTV cameras everywhere😮 unfortunately I didn't like it but the bottle in the cab😢

Trents paid a good price for the ML. Parts must be a premium to pay so much. The other 2 will be good parts cars being new, though can see the Corsa going up for auction. Thinking of growing a beard myself. First time trying.

They are unreliable if not fully maintained, most get used for short journeys by people wanting to look hard Transfer boxes and engines and dpf filters My local garage gets loads in for repair, then tell the owners why they bought a merc cheap 😂 It's designed for long distances, not running around the estate and to maccy ds Oddly none ever get them repaired

Kev, really like your videos and content. However, the advert time is becoming ridiculous now. I had to watch 5 ad breaks and 4 of these each were nearly a minute long. Makes the videos unenjoyable. Sadly I just switch off, which I am sure does not your analytics any good.

Where did it almost go very wrong? I'm not searching through the video again to try and find what I think I missed because I noticed this in a previous video where the title never materialised in the video. What happened to you Kev? Hyperbolic clickbait titles, now even in all caps. You used to be better than this. I enjoyed your videos long before you started this nonsense. It's so unnecessary, your videos are enjoyable enough without this nonsense. Now I don't watch half your videos because the titles are meaningless, I'll stick to the other Trucker Legends (remember that?) who are more genuine.

It also weighs twice as much and hence takes far longer to stop than an equivalent petrol or diesel vehicle. Never mind pedestrian safety when you can virtue signal though 👍
