The Jain community consumes food that has No Onion No Garlic and during the Navratri, many people consume food that has No Onion No Garlic.
So this Magic Gravy is perfect for all of you.

Recipe :
Magic Gravy
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 6-7 dishes
Ingredients:
1 kg Tomatoes
2” ginger
3-4 green chilies
50g cashew nuts
2-3 bay leaves
2 black cardamoms
2” cinnamon
3-4 cloves
1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
4 tbsp oil
Method:
Roughly chop the tomatoes.
Heat oil in a pan. Add the whole spices and allow to splutter. Add the cashew nuts, the chopped ginger, green chilies, and sauté till golden. Add the tomatoes, powered spices and sauté till the tomatoes are well cooked and oil floats on top of the masala. Remove from heat, cool completely. Remove the bay leaves and grind to a smooth paste. Store refrigerated till required.
