I send Koopa the Quick to a PU.
When Koopa the Quick encounters a bowling ball clone that's facing away from him, he'll accelerate backwards. I exploit this by having him accelerate backwards into out of bounds, at which point he stops moving laterally and stays within the bowling ball clone's hitbox. Hence, he continues to accelerate backwards, accumulating speed until his intended next position syncs up with a PU and so he moves to that PU.

Everyone feels bad for Koopa the Quick, but I think there’s a wholesome interpretation of this. KTQ has always defined himself by his speed, and has been jealous for years of Mario’s ability to go faster than he could ever hope to. One day, Mario decided to teach him how to do his own sort of BLJ. For a split second, Koopa the Quick was the fastest thing in this universe and multiple parallel universes, achieving his life’s purpose.

I'm pretty sure the race ends when he reaches the flag, and there's no objects in PUs, so... Yeah, the race never ends.

Pretty sure the pathing is based on x and z coordinates, so he will try to get back to the map infinitely. Just my guess

Does Koopa the Quick deactivate when he's at the other PU? It's sorta different than when Mario goes to another PU and everything deactivates? Does Koopa the Quick still have a hitbox in PU 0,0? Is it possible to send Koopa the Quick back at an angle where he'd be placed at the top of the mountain, and would it disqualify Mario from getting the star? If Mario, once Koopa the Quick left for another PU, went to the top of the PU 0,0 (default) mountain, would it count him as winning even though it was 3 hours into the course at that point? Would the Star never appear because Koopa the Quick never arrives?

I can answer the latter two question. Mario would win the race, despite taking three hours to do so (as shown by other, non-PU related manipulations with Koopa the Quick), but the star wouldn't appear because Koopa the Quick has to also finish the race before giving you the star, which he can't do for obvious reasons.

No, he is clearly jumping, so he's trying to get past something. Also no because he must be trying to get to his waypoints which don't exist at the PU Mario and KTQ is.

Since the course is 16384 wide, that means the min QF distance to get to a PU is 65536 - 16384 = 49152, which is a speed of 196608. So how does KtQ go to a PU with a speed of only 189k? EDIT: Just realised KtQ doesn't do QF movement, I'm dumb.

He thought Koopa the Quick's position is checked every quarter frame, like Mario's. But Koopa the Quick is a simple man, his position is only checked once every frame

Going where no-... one man, a crazy box, a fish, and possibly some other things I'm forgetting have already gone before. (Are PUs accessible in the multiplayer mario 64 thing, or did they remove that?) 2:29 He remembers what you did to him way back when, and starts out by silently playing along. That played right into your trap, pushing him into the corner. At least he warmed up to the idea in the end. I wonder what other objects we can send to PUs.

anything that you can grab or clone and release without updating the holp can go to a pu by placing the holp with the crazy box earlier scuttlebugs have gone to vertical pus the fly guys' hitboxes can become infinitely small and have a negative size(which makes it bigger but looks weird and is intangible) so that could possibly be expanded into pus, if i remember correctly
