Hi Russell love watching your shows! I have had mine going for 6 weeks now and yes it's amazing to see fish at the top come down 40ft or more to eat especially cool to see the trail they leave behind them.

Hello Russel, we have been running our Panoptix system since spring. It is very informative as you mentioned. I mounted our transducer in a non-conventional way. I am going to guess by your image that your transducer is mounted in the conventional way, same as Casey? Let me know because I am still in test mode trying to decide which is better. Your image gives me another point of view. Currently I see forward and aft of transducer, but still see fish diving and reacting to lures. Thanks for info

Just to let you know, someone hacked your KZfaq account and sent a lot of people that we won a giveaway. I thought it was the flashers and flies you offered on Monday but the text said it was for a Yamaha outboard motor! They would just need the shipping cost . Thanks for your channel. Lots of great knowledge shared.

Hey Russel, great videos. Can you please tell me where you mounted this? Mine is not showing my lures. Thanks!

Never had much luck marking salmon on sonar ... That being said I'd never leave the dock without the fish hawk up and running very effective.

Russel: Great video, I just came upon it today so sorry about the late comment. One question, what have you heard about how those work when you have waves? I troll Lake Erie for walleye and rarely is it calm and it seems the only videos I see this on are shot when it is pretty calm. Also, I use offshore boards for the most part (although I do use dipsey's in the warmer months when the fish move to the deeper water). Will the transducer pick up spinner rigs? For walleye they are a lot smaller than what you are dragging for salmon. Thank you if you get a chance to respond!

@@RussellsFishingTech have you compared what you had there to Livescope? Any opinions?

Thanks for the review. What is the top fish detection sensor for the Garmin echomap ultra 102 today? Garmin Lvs34? Thanks in advance.

Russel is he running that ducer in the normal mode, or "flipped?" Stock mount, or the Rytek mount?
@fishontv6834 Жыл бұрын
That's normal mode. If it was flipped, then you'd see all the riggers to one side (stern) of boat. What you see on the screen is left and right rather than bow and stern.

Is this actually Panoptixs or Livescope? You never mention Livescope. Why would you use Panoptix over Livescope? We actually have the Humminbird Helix G4N and Mega Live. Haven't had it out enough to get good with the Mega Live. First time out watched fish swimming around in a deep hole on the river by us. Salmon we have fished for I had trouble. Last October we fished for Coho and all I seen twice were big blobs on the screen. Not sure if Coho too close to the Mega Live or what. Not sure if I can adjust for larger fish. It did OK on smaller fish but not the Coho Salmon.

Technology has come a long way for sure! Was the transducer mounted to the back of the boat, on a pole, or?
@brockus352 жыл бұрын
Look up Rytek that's the mount I use it's the best out there!

I can see the same with the LVS 32 livescope ducer, can see the flasher fly workings also up to 50-60 feet back
@Basicsareeverything2 жыл бұрын
You can see the same on a ps30, this one just wasn't angled right for the video. I can see my deep dipsey and the baits on my ps30 which has a larger scope than lvs 32. The detail on the LVS is far superior tho.
@tribalkilly86602 жыл бұрын
@@Basicsareeverything how far back can you see dipsies??
@Basicsareeverything2 жыл бұрын
@@tribalkilly8660 Depends on current, normally 60-80ft down i can see it. A lot of times it's only one side due to current.
