Pantheon are the GOAT of long distance there is no doubt at this point. That said it behooves one to have a *worse set up to grind on to improve distance, strength, skill and stamina. *Worse for distance might be better for other stuff. Like learning all your tricks on a smaller '*worse' board than your usual suddenly makes you SO much better on your usual board. Like playing snake back in the day on a phone sometimes to crack the next level you play on the hardest mode, die quick a bunch, go back and it all seems slow AF and easy. A friend of mine dislikes this proven by many technique though and instead wears leg weights which seem to work for them, but they also seem to get more leg issues needing RnR despite being younger, but it is a sample size of 1 so who knows.

Very good interview with clever concurrent insertion of a zoom-in of the actual wheel while Jeff is explaining. Thanks to Jeff for sharing so much detail. He definitely eat, sleep and breathe skate boards! I am very happy with my Loaded Pantheon Trib Collab and I suspect that I may be getting another one of Jeff's creations soon. Thank you all!!

I’ve swapped the karma onto all of my pumping boards. I definitely feel a longer stroke and a bit more agility with these wheels. I really liked them on the supersonic with just Paris front truck and bear rear. Better pushing and pumping at lower speeds compared to the mcflys. Currently I have them on my bracketed bandito. With a bit more angle added they pump better and roll as well as the pink speedvents. I suspect if I add some more angle to the supersonic in the front I’d get similar improvement.

I understand what you mean, I mean the price is very competetive at that Performance segment but still costs more than some trucks or decks ;D It's worth it imo, since good wheels improve riding quality very much!

For the quality of Pantheon boards and the amount of care and thought that Jeff and co put into their products, I’d say that they are very reasonably priced.

I haven't been riding actively for the past 10 ish years but back in myyy day even performance wheels were nowhere near this expensive. I remember in heats costing 60ish bucks and they were considered a luxury. Now even wheels meant to be shredded to the core cost like 90 bucks. I guess it's just inflation but I was a kid back then and felt like I could actually afford wheels now as an adult they seem real cost prohibitive for someone getting into the scene.

Ich fahre die Speed Vents 77a mit einem körpergewicht von 110kg und das funktioniert sehr gut, denkst du die Karmas könnten ebenfalls gut passen oder denkst du das sie zu weich sein könnten und eher bremsen statt lange gut zu Rollen? Die Speed Vents in 79a habe ich auch finde sie aber ein ticken zu hart, ich weiß absolut nicht wo ich die Karmas mit 74a einordnen kann.

Das sollte eher kein Problem sein. Gibt genug schwere Fahrer, die sie super finden. Aber Garantie kann ich dir darauf nicht geben, mit meinen 72 kg :D
