This tank gave me nightmares with under 40%wr when I first played it. It has low alpha, no armor, and you can't hull down. It is true that the gun is great with fast aim time, so I feel like the only way to beat your enemy is by shooting them first before they shoot you in a 1-1 situation. Other than that, you need to pray that your meta tank teammates and/or light tanks can spot and do their thing or it's gg most of the time...

In game number 2, the IS-6B and the Caernarvon AX cost the team any chances of winning by sitting at the back at the start of the battle.

Wow. Played this tank around 2018. Was looking forward to it. Was badly outclassed by enemy mediums whenever I tried to make a the pressure. When I tried to be bush wanker I would be screamed at by my own team that I am not a TD, stop camping. Maybe they have boo-fed it but I have no fond memories of this thing.

Hello skill, i was on your index this morning and just saw that it was revamped (well kind of). I looked at some tank stats and noticed that "hulldown performance" and "flexibility" are missing. Why did they get removed?

This is so far my only tank i've managed to 2 mark. And honestly the expectation values are too low for this decent tank. Needs a turbo tho. This thing otherwise is just too slow.

3 marked it myself to 100% a few times, and I'd have to say that turbo would be a mistake (just my opinion). This tank is all about the gun, maximize that to the extreme! Rammer and vents for max DPM and then go for optics so you're not blind (what I run), or IRM or even vert stabs. -By the way, the expectation values are so low because too many people try to play every medium the exact same way. Panther and Panther II are all about sustained DPM, just wearing enemies down.

Crazy a T8 medium has the same HP as several T8 heavies and then is part of one of the best medium line in the game.

i am actively grinding the e-50m and this tank is a good stop. i dont think i will sell this machine although i have experienced e-50. summary can be like this: reliable gun, not very decent speed, sometimes lifesaver armor and pretty good hit points for its tier. also ramming the waffle kind of tanks and the lights are always fun to do. ventilator, fast shell reload and the ammo rack preventer (sorry i forgot the names of the equipments) are the best equipments for this tank imo.

If the tank had bigger alpha damage then it be really good. But you have to work really hard get into the flow of this tank to make it work

I don't see many logic at WG's Panthers. With it's weight and history backup they should have solid frontal armor. Also it will be playable.

@@agbrenv That'd be fine. It'd mean that the tank would be able to trade better, since it almost always gives away some of its health every time it leaves cover to take a shot at something. A high RoF is useless unless you're shooting at something that's in the open.

Just 2 points - the last time I watched you try to get to the island on Drownenberg you drowned due to the tank - a Borsig from memory - was not fast enough and point 2 that camo is ace!

Haven't had that much fun in a tier 8 tech tree med in a very long time. The gun is amazing and honestly I feel disappointed with e50's gun one tier higher after the panther 2. No idea why but e50s big gun is the most unreliable reliable gun I've ever played with, even 130pm gun feels better with its notorious SU moments

This gun also works quite well on the E 50, in my experience. I can't decide if I prefer it over the 105 mm, both seem to work for me but statistically I have slightly better games on average with the 105.

nah...as toptier against tier 7, yes! against Tier 10 nooo! you cant trade and u cant use the good dpm on the long gun

@@Knebebelmeyer I mean, sure, but if you're trading with an E 50 that's not going to end well for you regardless of which gun you have. Ideally you'd utilize the armor in a way that puts you at an advantage.

@@EvilCouncil yeah, but 150 at the most in lobbies where most guys have 250+ pen makes that not such a great idea. It can be, I guess. But you’ve got to remember everyone is running gold ammo these days too, so it really ain’t good for that either. The armour imo is good for getting lucky bounces while you’re flanking or relocating lol.

Sitck with tanks you like/ are familiar with. Don't rush tiers. Save up blueprints and free XP to skip bad tanks & stock modules.

The thing with WoT and the big cats (Tiger, Panther etc.) is that they were made to serve as long to mid range tanks in the real world, with powerful cannons and adequate armor against 75mm Shermans and T-34 tanks at medium range, but WoT maps and mechanics don't work like that, they are fat and impossible to hide, the maps are either a large field where if you fire you get spotted or it's a city map where you can't snipe at all and so on. It's what creates this "issue" in the game and german vehicles in general

I'd beg to disagree that German tanks in general don't work in WoT. I primarily play them, with the Panther and Panther II being among my most played and I do quite well overall.

@@MongooseJakeGames My most played vehicles are the Tiger 1 and E75 and I do amazing in them, it's just that you need to know how to play them really well, if you make a little mistake in both vehicles you are essentially dead. Which would be just fine if other nations had the same consequence for making that same mistake (US heavies have turrets, Russians have troll armor on all vehicles, Frenchies have speed, whereas the germans have only strong guns that often can't help them in a 1v1 or 1v2 scenario). Another thing (sorry for this long af comment) is that german vehicles have engines made of plastic, every time your sprocket gets hit in the E75, Tiger or the RHM the engine dies with it

Having good gun handling is very nice to have sure, but still, a single-shooter for 250 alpha in todays game with all auto(re)loaders, heavy hitting heavys and ferraries...hardly epic. You can do well in any tank if you're a good player. So why should a good player play a tank that is far inferior to many ohters. If you wanna play Panther 2, play a TD insted imho.

This vehicle gun handling is a shit fot its alpha and pen. Wargaming has not shame saying this tank with 223mm of pen has a tier IX gun. Man, this Wargaming is so dishonest. Unbeliveablely dishonest.

What a BS... in any normal game you'd be dead the moment you jumped into the stream... Sorry, as much as I like your lives - the youtube videos and 100% luck battles are full of BS. There's no way you can pull this off in a typical battle.
