Panther Martin Spinners Catch EVERYTHING Pond Fishing

4 жыл бұрынIn this video my friend David and I did some pond fishing with Panther Martin Spinners. I wanted to see how they compared to the Rooster Tail, which I had fished with at these same two ponds about a month prior to making this video. Like the Rooster Tail, these Panther Martins caught a bunch of fish, but unlike the Rooster Tail, they caught a bunch of bluegill.

You can never go wrong with a Panther Martin. I've had great luck with them since I was about 13. Gosh I'm getting OLD!

@@josephedwards8992it’s my cheat lure if nothings working just throw a panther martin I’ve caught trout, small mouth, even pan fish

@@josephedwards8992try Joe flies short striker, they’re identical to the panther martins but have a fly (other insects as well) with an extra hook. I’ve had a lot more luck with those catching a 2lb trout and a big bluegill back to back within 7 minutes

Famous lure from back in my day was a Super Duper! Try one! Also Rooster Tails. Good video man

Another great video! I like comparisons done at the same location. Maybe consider using trout magnets at the same ponds to compare results. stay safe!

I have been using these since before you were born (I'm 50). You get a fast-action rod/rod tip, you can cast these little guys a long way. I have picked up some knock-offs at either Walmart or at Dick's that work just as well. They are my go-to for trout. Tight lines.

Yeah man, they’re a classic. And yeah, I think the knockoffs probably work just as well, which is why I typically don’t buy these ones, but I got a really good deal on them because they were on sale. Thanks for watching!

I am new to fishing. Do i need to add any weights to the line or do I just need to tie the spinning lure and thats it?
