I love how there's a theory that the sword Butch used in Pulp Fiction is the sword that Bill's brother sold in Kill Bill. I've even heard a theory that says Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and Jackie Brown all take place in the same universe. Amazing.

The theory definitely holds up, even by the existence of Red Apple cigarettes. However Bill’s brother never sold the sword, he says he pawned it (and may have and gotten it back but he says it to imply he no longer has it to Bill). In Vol 2, Beatrix finds the sword in the closet and uses it during her fight with Elle.

No, Kill Bill is a movie from within the larger Tarantinoverse. It's a remake of Fox Force 5. Uma Thurman isn't playing Beatrix Kido. She's playing Mia Wallace playing Beatrix Kido.

Wow man, this song reminds me of this one time when me and this gangster buddy of mine got in a big ol' fight and ended up in the basement of this creepy pawn shop and were held hostage. I escaped while the owner and his buddy were taking turns poking him in the butt. I was about to leave him behind but then I decided to come back for him. I think I killed the two guys with a dull flea market katana or something. We're good buds now but I can never go back to LA. Last I heard he was working as a fireman in New York and came out as gay. Weird huh?
