We’re staying at Mitsui Garden Hotel Fukuoka Gion, located in the heart of Hakata , walking distance to Canal city and just a 15 min taxi to the airport. And since we’ve never been to Fukuoka as a family together, it was more than easy to accept this invite from the hotel. That said, the overall value you get for staying at this hotel is amazing as it offers an incredibly insane Japanese breakfast, luxury style onsen bath, steam sauna, and premium customer service. This ultra affordable hotel has a seafood restaurant, Uoden on the 1st floor, which is actually a popular spot for locals to go to as they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. What we loved the most is definitely their fresh fish section. This is not your standard Japanese breakfast buffet and definitely need to check it out for yourself. Also, Mitsui have hotels all throughout Japan, like Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Sapporo, etc. so worth checking wherever you are staying in the country.

When I was in Tokyo in 1998, I stayed at a Japanese business travel hotel near Ikebukuro train station for only $35 a night. You aren't supposed to stay more that 3 nights there, because its a travel hotel, but I told the owners I would pay for 2 weeks in advance if they let me stay there because it would be very convenient for me so close to the train station, and they let me! I saved so much money and just returned each night to sleep. It worked out great and I appreciate their kindness in making an exception for me.😊

There was a hostel in Tokyo called Khaosan Tokyo Ninja I stayed at that was like $20-30 a night, you could stay as long as you wanted. You could also stay for free for a month if you worked part time cleaning the place. Unfortunately the entire building was demolished a few years ago.

Been watching the channel for a while now. Great video as usual. I just noticed something of a red flag, " accept this invite from the hotel." If this means that you stayed there for free and/or were paid to stay there to do a review. I highly recommend to include a notice about being sponsored by the hotel in the video and/or in the description on the video. Legally you can get into trouble if you received any form of compensation from the hotel for creating what would be considered an advertisement video without disclosing it to viewers. If you received no compensation, please disregard and keep up the great videos! I enjoy them!

Yes, I agree that it should be clear what thst invite means if it involves gift/payment for the family to stay there. I nyself would not pay $500 a night for a hotel room, but Paulo did mention and show a room in the 150 USD range, and that seemed a good value for the location and 4 to 5 star accommodation. I travel for work to LA area of CA and $150 a night in many areas is 2.5 star at best.

Another enjoyable video, Paolo. I love how Woofie can speak both Japanese and English. That last scene with him mimicking you in the background was hilarious. And Maiko is so pretty, even without make-up. She can actually say, “Oh, I woke up looking like this,” and we’d believe it. every time you say "It is what it is" it makes me so happy, my grandpa always said that and so it's like a reminder he is always with me. This place looks so awesome! Maybe if I am super lucky one day I can go there :) I miss arcade shops so much, they're way too expensive now and I guess everyone else grew up besides me! but dang I miss those arcades. hey~ that reception looks just like the one we went near Kyoto Station back in Jan this year. :) We stayed at the Rinn プレミアム風雅南 for 5 nights and it was great! Our kids loved the place n atmosphere and neighborhood. I went to a small local bakery for coffee, bread and etc. every morning too. Well it was quote pricey but our family enjoyed and that's most important.

Awesome Hotel and the fact that there's a Gundam Base and a LalaPort near buy , makes it a great Destination . It was Cool to have Maiko and Wolfy film their part of the day as well. But a big Highlight of the Video was when Wolfy points to the Telescope and say's its for looking at the Moon , Brilliant Little Dude.
