Japan Travel Guide - Top 10 Things to do in Nagoya including Nagoya food tour favorites that you can't miss. Nagoya Japan is an overlooked travel destination, but it's quite an amazing area if you take the time to explore. There are also so many Nagoya foods to eat that I could dedicate and entire video to just Nagoya food specialties, but I wanted to make an overall Nagoya Travel guide including foods to eat in Nagoya. And for those who are coming for the Japan Rugby world cup 2019, don't worry as I'm also included Toyota Stadium in this video. These Nagoya travel tips are a must know before you start your Nagoya sightseeing experiences and I hope will provide tourists with a local's perspective on Nagoya. We'll visiting some some Nagoya hot spots like Osu Shotengai, Nagoya Castle, Nagashima Resort as well as some famous Nagoya restaurants like Yabaton serving their local Nagoya food specialty, Misokatsu.

I live in Osaka but Nagoya is by far my favorite city in Japan. It has everything a metropolis has, but without hordes of people and stupid rent prices. You can ride around the whole city by bicycle on the sidewalks just like many of other small japanese capitals.

A few more things to do around Nagoya and Toyota: 1. Science Museum 2. Nagoya Art Museum 3. Toyota Art Museum 4. Okazaki Castle 5. Inuyama Castle (Original build) 6. Asahi Beer factory tour 7. Kirin Beer factory tour 8. Eat at Yabachan 9. Catch a Dragons game 10. Oasis 21 11. NHK TV Tower 12. Visit the CoCo Ichiban museum Also, as Paulo said, if you're going to Toyota Stadium for a RWC match it's a good 15 - 20 min walk. Unless you're unable to do the walk or have a disability, I highly suggest not driving as car parking is tough. The walk up is fun and a pretty cool atmosphere.

Ive lived in Nagoya for almost 6 years; this is spot on. There is absolutely nothing to do in this boring town. And yes, its just a big town, its not a city. The fact that almost everything on this list is food or places not even in Nagoya (Toyota/Nagashima) shows how little there is to do. Its very convenient for getting to other places but thats it. Oh and the locals are known for being the cheapest and least friendly in Japan. Dont waste any time visiting Nagoya.
