Self = Inner Beauty. This is it, the master key and the inner teaching, freely given by Papaji without fanfare. Like many, I had always believed that liberation, freedom from birth and suffering, was the seeker’s goal. After watching this video I recalled sitting once with my guru. I asked him, “Yogiji, do you think you will be reborn?” “I hope so!!!” came the astonishing reply. I was stunned. How could a guru wish to be reborn, I wondered? Still incredulous, I asked, “Why?” “To discover inner beauty,” he answered.

After listening Papaji’s talk, I look around my place and myself. All these things. What a fuss due to ignorance “my life” is. The farthest place to reach was to myself, indeed.

My whole life I asked myself why was I born… I want to know the truth, why am I constantly suffering ? Now that I’m older I ask myself “am I in this world because of my attachment to suffering ?” & believe the extent to which you want ( desire) things in life is the extent to which you will continuously experience your own suffering here on earth. Watching this video gave me the shivers.

What Papaji is trying to communicate - is something like this.we are neither the body nor the mind.There is only one Soul without a second and is known by many names viz., God, Guru, self and consciousness and for which there is no birth or death and we are that.Unfulfilled desires takes up a body, life after life, until all desires are extinguished.It is possible for all of us to be free from this viscious cycle of births and deaths, in this very life and in this very moment, by being just what you are.Trying to become something or someone, other than what we are, is bondage and simply living life the way it is meant to be, is freedom.Don't give any colour to this state of being.We are not the doers, but only a witness to whatever is happening around us and accept whatever happens in life with equanimity.Then you are free for ever !

it can be really hard. at least 3-4 years ago i really got the effect from the teachings. who is the perceiver? now take a step back even further-all of life truly is a reality - not a realities reality. but in the ebb and flow of this true. effortlessness, ive found myself again in suffering and pain but seemingly from the world around me. feeling like i'm still part of a sacrifice generation- one where true love is not yet fully embraced by the world. true love doesnt hurt, is also effortless. to be brought against my will by those lower than me through the passive agressive cause and effect of their unresolved trauma- very challenging in todays world. i remember a comment about how one of the papaji satsang members had committed suicide. and although it brings pain, pain that i have been given not only the lesson of in the past but the recognition of, that any pain is not deserved. any pain can be evolved from. any pain. even here i can start thinking about the greatest meaning of death and sacrifice- a true emotional height, a true human story, like a classic movie. overcome the fear. overcome the bags. the papaji teaching is so strong that it can even lose to enemies-it can take you to the head of the kings of the infinite armies outstretched- all you need to do is to say one word and there will be peace, and internal peace- and that is impossible with this teaching. one cannot act- the body takes care of itself.

Papaji uses very few words, but each word needs to be understood in the way he uses it, usually, spiritually or philosophically. Seen rightly, he delivers the same important message as Plato, Buddha, and Jesus--without all the verbiage and camouflage and deadends. But he must be listened to carefully and respectfully because he speaks the truth, and Gandhi said that God is truth. If you're just looking for ways to disprove or embarrass him, you will miss the point and remain lost in confusion and unhappiness. You have to be willing to trust that someone actually knows the truth and is ready, willing, and able to communicate it, to give it to you, if you're ready, willing, and able to receive it. Many of us are not, and the transfer of knowledge cannot be forced. For some people, it seems to come easy; for the rest of us, it may not happen at all. And that is sad. So, for some people, life is heavenly; for others, it's hellish. That may not be fair, but apparently that's just the way it has to be for now, at least.

My depression from no where landed me on this site many times .I am dumb founded in my physical world and inside I am tormented by why was i born, how does my life help this existence. Life was definitely easier without these inner demons .Has my self rejected me . I really need answers and /or energy to live this life. What use my being called God's child when every other existence is living peacefully and I do not know who i am and being punished for taking birth for no fault of mine.

So powerful... thank you. I hope the Self does not reject me :S I can't imagine anything worse than that...

You don't have to wear a golden chain to exist as Self, know that, you simply wish to carry on playing the game without revealing the background to yourself, not a rejection by Self as if it was a separate judgemental entity.

From Papji's commentary, as long as we have desires we reincarnate into physical body. I fully appreciate this. But the question I still have is, if I attain nirvana, what is the guaranty that I will never get desire and take rebirth? Or is it the case that after nirvana I lose my identity and I can by definition never have desire? Thank you!

Nearly no one is free from desires, that means we all are reborn (according to the idea discussed by Papaji), how then do we cope with the exponential rise in births? A lot of desire will be needed to make births happen.
