I actually have a little anecdote about this chapter here. During my very first play-through of the original, I leveled up after the fight before receiving the bad cake, not knowing that your partners would be out of the next fight if you do eat it, so I didn’t. Then during my recent first play-through of the remake, the exact same thing happened again. Obviously, I remembered what happens, but I still couldn’t help but feel that history repeated itself.

Good work, but to save you some trouble later, the Super and Ultra Hammer's special moves don't actually increase the damage done to the initial target, it knocks that enemy into everyone behind, damaging the rest. Using it on a lone enemy doesn't do anything a normal hammer strike wouldn't.

I got the game recently and finished chapter 3 is been so much fun ^-^ also I went for the red yoshi.
