I really loved that laser disc story

Through the entire episode I was like "BUT THE FUCKING LASER DISK STORY."

When you've been having a super shitty day and all you wanna do is cry and then the Grumps upload and make you a little happier.

I've played through this game twice, and only now do I find it odd that the Thousand Year Door was considered a myth for years, despite being about 2 levels down underground and has a clear open path.

I know this episode was full of tutorials but it's really nice seeing Dan getting into the game, it makes me happy.

Game Grumps Paper Mario: TTYD Episode 6 The story so far: A fat plumber gets a message from his monarch to come hunt treasure against his will. He finds a fungal female named Feisty Felisha being assaulted by a gang of horrible, nasty evil people. She promptly announces her companionship to the potentially dangerous man, having recognized the lesser of two evils. She tells Plumblestein to go find King Brunglestotch, a schizophrenic old doctor with a book hoarding problem. The old man greets the duo, immediately forcing them to fight each other to the death "for practice". They go down a sewer pipe and come across a band of Chex offenders who flirt with Felisha and are then killed ruthlessly. The trio finds an ancient door lost to the ages literally 50' below town, but not before getting _OOGITY BOOGITY CURSED_ by a helpful bodiless face. Brunglestotch reads a few books and forces Felisha and Plumblestein on their way to Petal Meadows. (Petal Meadows?)

ARIN AND DAN! I speak on behalf of pretty much every grump when I say could you guys PLEASE do this series to completion! Like, not 100% (oh god that would take a while), but just until you beat the main storyline. It's such a fucking good game, and it would suck ass to be another unfinished series. Also, I would recommend making these videos be 15 minutes or even longer (kinda like wind waker), because there's a loooooot of in-between time. Please make this series be another one of the greatest ones for yinz!!! IT WILL BE SO FUCKING AMAZING! THERE'S DRAGONS AND WRESTLING AND BOWSER AND COMPUTER TO HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS! It's such a fucking good game, and I hope yinz do it until the end! Love ya guys!

Laser disc story was 11/10. Amazing story, amazing delivery, and a completely fitting and not at all ridiculous build up.

I paused in the middle of the episode and came back 6 months later. That toad better have that frickin contact.

I am so glad Arin is not playing this or we'd be subject to him skipping all of the tutorials and then complaining the next dozen or so episodes that he can't figure it out
