The world is full of questionable people doing questionable things, and I like to question them. Today's question: "why did you think this would work?" (the title of video lmao)
Here's the thing; not everything is possible, and not everything you read is true. It's just not. That's why it's our job as living, breathing humans to figure out when someone is lying to us. It usually doesn't take much, just a minimal amount of critical thinking. And yet here we are, surrounded by people who seem to think everything they see on the internet is factual; and you better believe they're going to throw a fit when they're proven wrong.
This is a pretty light rant. Just some fun silly goofs because I felt like my last couple videos have been a little too serious. If you subscribed to me to see me laugh at dumb shit on the internet and not to passionately dismantle someone or something I'm mad about, then today is your lucky day. Pointless rants are my specialty.

Before iPhones had flashlights, I remember downloading a flashlight app that basically just flash banged you with a totally white screen that could be used as a “flashlight”

Honestly I used to do that with my 3DS. Just keep it on the main menu (light mode, of course), and then turn the brightness all the way to blast light so I could see in the dark.

On an old model smartphone (can't remember what, it wasn't one of the big brands of today), I downloaded a flashlight app that basically turned your camera flash on permanently whilst running. Since the phone itself had no flashlight functionality for the flash bulb.

i once had a smartphone without flash, so it didnt have a flashlight setting. I went to the appstore and found an app that basically set the bright of the screen to 100% and showed a pure white backgroud. Pretty ingenious if you ask me.

In the past I had downloaded an app called "Nothing" and in description it said that this app does nothing. Out of curiosity, I downloaded that app and actually that app absolutely did nothing, not even had a logo. It was invisible. So I gave it 5🌟 because it did exactly what it said.

Kinda late to the party but the Love Calculator thing was a massive part of my middle school IT class because the school computers were older than the fucking students and since our national education department banned KZfaq and any other sites that could keep us entertained for 80 minutes we had nothing else to do but put in our parents' names on the scale and wait for them to get a divorce.

When i was at disney world with my cousins it was extremely hot and we were waiting in line for a long time, anyway i look over and see my younger cousin download a "fan" app that was just an image of a fan rotating and proceed to point it toward herself - i don't know if this was supposed to be an attempt to trick her brain into thinking it was cooling her down or she genuinely thought it would work but it made me laugh so hard i cried (silently, because i didn't want to hurt her feelings lol)

The compatibility thing could literally just concatenate the names, hash them, and modulo the hash by 100 and display that on screen.
