They always choke the big because they lack a strong mental, that’s why we almost never see them comeback after a particularly rough half. They NEED someone who can strengthen their mental like what you mentioned or even an assistant coach to help alecks stabilise the team after their mental is shattered

Man, I feel bad for Forsaken. His family were all watching and even Xccurate said he was pretty stressed when he was being interviewed mid match against EDG. He looks like he's still wanted to cry. Hopefully this loss will bring massive impact to help them improve more. the massive different between their plays on Masters madrid and pacific play off to this tournament has been a massive downgrade. Idk what happened but I hope they'll work it out.

I think this lost gonna be a good one for them, they need to learn when to over extent and when to not, how to close an advantegeous round and learn to be patient and erase the hesistation mid round. If they can get through all their weakness, they might have another chance at a title.

Couldn't agree more, if paper rex players learn to be more disciplined in high pressure situations these guys have the individual skills to mow every top team down. Hopefully Alecks highlights these mistakes and we see less of them in stage 2 and champs.

@@zir456 LOL Mindfreak is not the problem .Its the problem with PRX's style is too readable. The disciplined teams like G2 or 100T clear PRX because they will know that PRX will play overly aggressive and out of position in every scenario they are in attack or defense. Boostio cleared the f out of PRX knowing that they will be awful playing post plant and do a set push out play on defense. At the highest level PRX style just doesnt work and PRX with 3 years running almost the same players they need to adapt and change and be more controlled. Gen G is almost like the better version of PRX because GEN G can play like PRX but has that displine tacked in their playstyle.

@@jeppong i agree, the players have the insane mechanics n the ability to win any tournaments, it's just they never upgraded their W playstyle, n still the lack of discipline it's just what cost them to lose rounds everytime, they never learn from their mistakes after so many international events, if in champs they're not changing something (not the player) to their books n protocol then it's joever. alecks needs a dude to help him cook strats.

This is by far the weirdest form I've ever seen PRX in. There's no need to over peek or push unless you want kills (which I'm guessing that's what Jing and Something wants to do since I see them over peeking A LOT), And also what's with them not playing with the time? Sure killing them would be faster but you can also just waste their time. As much as I support them I don't think they have a high chance winning Split 2 let alone Champions. Let's just hope GenG can win Pacific a trophy for once :T

Let Forsaken play as a duelist.. the team needs to have an IGL.. Jinggg must expand his agent pool.. The team needs to learn to play with discipline, manage their positions well, and avoid peeking or rushing when they need to stall for time to win..

too sad to watch. rooting for years. as I watched live, esp the last map and last few rounds b4 OT, as a fan already kinda disappointed at all the prior rounds given away, and part of me even felt like even if PRX loss, they 'deserve' it, or rather if they WON, they really got lucky. And part of me also felt even if they won against 100 Thieves the rate they were playing since Shanghai began.... it would be a TALL TALL order to make it as the cham. difficult to even get top 3, seeing how the other teams are playing.. GEN G, TH, G2, 100 THIEVES..so top form. but man, its still heart wrenching to see ur team bow out in this way, f hard lessons man. PRX need big changes, 1-2 in-game IGL for firm calls like not to peek, and maybe add 1 more coach too. and they need more strategies to prep them for teams. And stick to agents they REALLY are familiar with, maps too. They want the championship badly, but I think just reading all the comments, most would agree, wanting it, and playing like they want it is quite different. They playing like scrimping. /not serious (enough).

Forsaken is literally one of the best mechanical players in val and paper rex are making him play agents like harbor,Sova and also forcing him to play passively. If you watch their games,he is trying to take a lot of peeks without any supportive utility. He is naturally an aggressive player so prx should let him play agents like breach,Kayo,Yoru. On the other hand,Jingg's abysmal agent pool is a massive problem. Guy only knows how to play Sage and Raze and that's why their Comp in breeze was so trash. If jingg knew how to play Astra,they could've played Geng's comp and it would've been 100 times better.

I think instead of pointing out a single play, they need to work on making the team more solid, they just fumbled this masters. As a Prx fan I am disappointed in this performance, I thought G2 match was fluke, but they never came back, they should have dominated this tournament but they fumbled. I've said it before and I'll say it again : PRX needs at least some macro discipline in order to be a complete team. I've been saying this since Jinggg pushing for that bind ace even tho he's already sitting on his ult. Y'all blind fan gonna say that they're fine, no they're not. PRX is a strong team, they literally have the chance to beat 100T on final map even tho Boostio got them read like a book. It's just that in the end they're lacking in extremely simple and basic macro discipline. Shit like how to play their number and shit.

You can be disapointed but dont act like a hater, they know they need to learn from their mistake and no need from anyone to tell them they make a mistake. It's like when you do something bad, you knew it was wrong yet you also knew you need to figure it out but people kept picking on your mistakes when you're trying to fix that. Would you want that? Bcs i dont think so. So, if you ever feel disappointed to them, try to read them first. They're exhausted and need time to rest yet people are attacking them. I know it's not their style but having an IGL might be a good move for the prx roster moving forward, especially for decision making in moments when they need a clutch. Multiple voices wanting to call plays or push individually proved detrimental, a unified choice to play might be a good change for them. This team still has fire in them and the skills to go all the way for a trophy win, I hope they will find that stability to get that W 💗💜😭

For the current roster, it just doesn't work. They all have unique ideas and round by round they just use whatever ideas come that make sense. SEA teams just doesn't work well when having such a huge responsibility in one person as an IGL. In high pressure situations, we are proven to crumble especially the ones with huge responsibility. This team works and went far because they have their own unique system, without having an IGL that is. Even when Benkai was part of the team, he wasn't much of an IGL but more of a speaker for PR. If you listen to their voice comms, it's that same basic system. Everyone working together coming out with ideas in that heat of moment.

PRX do not deserve to win that after the 25 round in map 3, if they can combine a well disciplined play and a W gaming play they can be unpredictable. As a fan who are rooting for them to win it's a huge disappointment because so many rounds are being throwed, for PRX something the play he made on 25 round in map 3 will be an unforgettable play for him.
