This clip is not about war, but about peace. The war here is a way of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for each other. The video has 3 sequences of times, first we see the three friends on the beach, the drowning child (Dimash child) is saved by the other child who would later become the general of the war. The girl is later in the second time sequence Dimash's wife who had a daughter who is killed by hostile forces. As Dimash fights the general with rebel forces, she gives birth to a boy who is later killed. would become a kind of prophet and that has brought together all races, religions and cultures to lead them to the light of hope where there is no war and everyone is kind and tolerant with their neighbor (that is the third and most current line of video time). There are many messages in the video and the main one is that we see the harsh reality of humanity, and that together we can end wars if we practice more respect, tolerance and compassion. The city Waldenburg was completely destroyed - making the point that if we let wrong things persist for too long, they turn evil, and defeating evil gets accomplished at a great price and loss for everyone - "Adam kerwen ömir jol" - the phrase in growl register, while Dimash kneels and hugs his daughter that was killed : "Life of Man is long and dangerous journey, one must be careful" (with the choices he makes) - I believe the meaning of this kazakh proverb, and it`s placement in the video, highlight once again the importance of choices and their consequences - marking the most difficult moment of the video : the discovery of the innocent child that was killed = the darkest misery of war, everybody lost, all the sides - the shofar - the horn that is blown by one of the pilgrims (pilgrims who symbolize the spiritual journey of humanity) - The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humanity when it passes from evil to good: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. He is the little boy who gave out the pendants. The little girl and Dimash got together. She is birthing his child at the same time he is crying over the loss of their daughter. The bad guy is the other boy who took the dark path. Dimashes saying "the bad guy must be stopped, even if it means him sacrificing himself, in order to save the world. In the end he is born again as a Savior to lead the people. Btw, your reaction was exactly the way I expected. Great reaction!! Especially as a veteran it must be difficult to watch. You “know” even more than us who watch this mv from a safe distance what it is like to feel unsafe and be in a war, horreble. Thank you for stil watching and reaction to it! The mv is deep and meaningfull. You are not the first who did not understand the complete meaning of the story. I found it very helpfull to read the explanaition at Dimash News. It makes the mv even more a Masterpiece. Besides that, such a respect for Dimash who put so much money (most expensive mv in the world sofar) and time (3 years in composing, writing the story) in this project to make us aware of what is happening in the world and pleaing for peace and tolerance. ❤

Thank you for your reaction, This song is perfection both emotionally and vocally. To me, and I'm sure to many, it's the best thing anyone has ever sung and recorded, and the most valuable. There may still be questions about why so many people believe that Dimash is the best? I don't know, maybe only a robot will be emotionless after watching and listening to this video. This is a masterpiece of the century that will remain in history.

Thank you very much for sharing this with us all and thank you so much for your service. I have CPTSD and for me this is healing for me to watch and catch all of the many layers of meanings. The message is the understanding and warning of what will happen unless we stop “the trailing”. The symbol is a compass and also I believe a Buddhist symbol of peace. The taller boy bent the symbol because he was jealous that the girl chose the other boy. Jealousy and revenge never works and this masterpiece shows why. Yes all the sounds vocally are Dimash’s voice.(( he did this live for the Pope (received a medal for this from him) and the Iman who congratulated him for promoting world peace)). It’s difficult to watch for everyone who chooses Life, Love, Light and peace. I understand that you know this and pray for your ability to heal after what you went through to “save people!” You have a beautiful heart and soul. I haven’t been to war but have had my own and have learned that others bad are their own and stay on this path to peace. If only we humans would understand that we're of ONE decent, of one source, what split (Small groups of people, who actually had to stick together or die, conquered this beautiful huge planet, our earth, what's "given to us" to care for!) into "different kinds" of people, who settled everywhere, growed and became later "The Others". The "Others", "We vis Them" and "They're NOT like US" is the rhetoric too many people, our leaders, use, to describe people like us with little differences and looks. We should change our rhetoric, become "wise", end the circle of violence and stick together, because we still have huge problems to solve! Peace, freedom and prosperity to ALL humans!

The lady( that was the girls in the begging) wich DIMASH end up with her but the other kid also liked her, there was jealousy since the first scene. When the kid that gat DIMASH out of the water, while he is trying to get DIMASH back, he keeps looking at the girl. If you noticed the girl didn't stop looking at DIMASH, I imagine that the hero was like hey I'm the one saving his ass here, something like that. So she, DIMASH girl dies giving birth to their son and the monks keep him in the monastery to raise him. From the beginning the monks thing he will be someone that ones grown will help humanity see past of all are differences and get together for a better future. So at the end that is DIMASH ( very dead in the bottom of the sea) son ones he is grown and becoming a lider type of man that others want to fallow, but in peace and with all are differences. And you did good with the video I cry from the moment I saw DIMASH crying because of his dead daughter!

I don't even want to know what it looked like through the eyes of someone has been through what you have been through.🥰 The woman was Dimash's wife, the child his daughter. The people walking up the mountain in unity to the light are myriads of different religions taking a unified path to light and a common good. The chants are calls to prayers, mournings, and many instruments and sounds unique to each religion. He weaves a complex, multilayered pattern... Always with questions posed to the viewer. This is an epic masterpiece. The music is absolutely superb. The sentiment beyond value. Thank you again for your reaction.

This is a video that is not foucused on the music or singing. or the film- they are a means by which Dimash is trying to spread the message that this planet is one earth on which we all live. 'It is a gift to us all, if only we would see the incredable syncroniciry there is betwwenus all. We all live on this planet, greed and fear is detroying it, because of the deciscions made by of a few men ( mostly). who then go about creating tensions and fear between us all and ultimately setting us all agianst each other. He is asking us all to do wha we can to stop destroying this world and killing,each other and poisening the earth - and for what - a bigger house, lots of money in the bank etc without regard to our fellow humans, and creatures. Dimash has the story explained on his channel under the video. In his Almaty concert., where he performes this song, you can see, feel the passion he has to see the whole world at peace with each other. 'appreciating the divercity between us, seeing the gifts we all have and sharing them. As he sings the refrane of "We are choosing LIFE" repeatingly, the enrgy and emotion his is putting into his performance can be seen in the movements of his body, the passion in his voice, and as he drops to his knees to finish the refrain, he is near to collapse. Heartbreakingly magnificent! Powerful portrayal! Brutally honest in showcasing how war rages against a life of peace in all regions of the world. This video brings one to the brink of despair yet shows that life endures and hope lives on from generation to generation! Profound performance by Dimash and all those who participated in the artistry of this production! The first lyrics are so telling "Can't believe what is happening at all PIPER'S crazy, we are bound to fall" seems to me to relate to a Pied Piper leading others astray! Showing his immense grief going to his home and finding his household, his daughter all dead. As he dies his son is born. You see the baby wearing the mother's sign of love and life and then he is shown grown into the very image of his father wearing the same necklace walking toward a dawning new light! My soul cried! Dimash is amazingly gifted and has an understanding of love and life beyond his years!

War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Story: (Requiem means: Funeral, Funeral Mass, Funeral Service) The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow pointer of a sundial, which was also used as a maritime compass before antiquity. One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one. The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. By becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. As children they were friends but they made bad choices as adults it led to hatred and death, however the baby(new life) has the opportunity to make a different choice and it chooses Peace. People in the desert are of different religions and nationalities, they are connected by misfortune (everyone is equal there). The message is clear - All children are born in love, friendship, peace, the wrong choices in life make us enemies, when we realize that there is nothing greater than Life, then our children will make the right choice - PEACE and LOVE !!
