I love the parable of the kingdom being like a mustard seed that grows into a massive tree that provides shelter and nourishment to all that come to it.

I always struggle with the relationship between the kingdom and the church. Because Jesus said "unless you're born again, you cannot enter the kingdom of God... you can not even see the kingdom of God." So in that sense it almost sounds like the kingdom is synonymous with the church (or the "invisible church" if that is your covenantal leaning). At the same time, it seems that many see the kingdom as being more broad than that e.g., the church + the influence of the church on the world.... so all that to say, in light of "thy kingdom come thy will be done"... would external obedience/submission to God's word qualify as God's will being done on earth? Of course we know that true obedience is faithful obedience... so how does this all fit together?

its a common misconception that the Rabbis memorised the whole of the Old Testament (Tanach). It was actually just the Torah (still a mammoth task of memorisation!), which are the first five books of Moses.

Sadly The Children of God still exist in countries outside of the US.

Jesus is King but He told us to pray "Thy Kingdom come". Jesus comes in Revelation 19, Kingdom is established in chapter 20 hence we pray and look for the Premillennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ 🙏 ❌
