You mentioned the number 1,000 units. You could send the energy of 500 of them direct to the homes during the day, and the other 500 could have the energy go direct to storage devices, and then their electricity/energy could be delivered at night, and then there would be 24 hour non stop electricity. If I owned one, I would put it to work right away, for the benefit of the planet, Mother Earth. Part of this device sounds like it is directly out of nasa pickup truck with the converted engine referred to as the same name as your mirror, the stirling engine. with that amazing feature of expanding internal gas's to power itselfv through external heat.

Rather than converting the motion of the Stirling engine to rotational energy (you said 'crank shaft'), could you use a linear motor type arrangement for a generator and rectify it then convert it with a grid inverter? I'm interested because I want to build one to get off grid lol

stirling cycle is mathematically known to achieve maximal energy conversion in either direction, it's physics baby

What power or energy by square meter of dish at the motor output?

this system is a good idea. the mirrors would have to be reachable to be cleaned on a regular basis.

Mirrors would be servo driven for tracking and maintenance. Also, the motor unit would be retractable for maintenance. With that heat, you're bound to need replacement parts.
