March 19th, 2021 Stage IIIA Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (Non-Smoking)
February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS (Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Current Chemo Plan; ongoing
6 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
Targeted Brain Radiation

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my family.

I've always hated crows. Now I will love them. Jenny was filled with care and compassion for all things. I will move forward in life carrying on that spirit. Jenny, you are an angel. Every time I see a sign of you, I cry. You are missed. Kyle, I'm so sorry you didn't get the two years. It's truly devastating.

I love Ducks I rescued two ducks recently from the pond at the hospital by me they needed help and got them healthier and they are our babies

I watch your channel. I love your spunk. I work for a non profit and teach meditation and visualization for cancer patients and their families. If I were to have a T-shirt made it would say, " I am enough as I am". Carry on my dear one. You will make it!!!!

In my perspective, your education style is absolutely perfect (both of you)! Respect nature at is core, respect yourself and others, sharing love, being humble, enjoy all the moments with gratitude, it's not necessary to live in a gigantic home to have a perfectly happy life! I love crows! I name everyone I see “Russel”and “Cheryl” because I am a cheesy nerd. But I have learned to embrace it. ;) What an awesome family vacation video. My favorite movie is Castaway. After Chuck Nolan survives years of being marooned on a deserted island to be rescued and returned to his loved ones he tells his friend that at his darkest moment when he had all but given up hope he said he told himself, “Breathe. Tomorrow the sun will rise. Who knows what the tide may bring.” Cherish each day you live inside the circle of love that surrounds you. Keep hope alive in your heart and fight for your life and know that you have given everything possible to your children you ever could have to keep them safe. I lost my father when I was four but I will tell you the love he gave me has been with me all my days and I have carried the essence of his beautiful humanity in my heart as a light. Everything you have been for your gorgeous, SWEET children has given them every bit of WHOLE LOVE they have needed and more. I wish I could have assured my father the same. Be at peace and breathe. Cherish all of it in your heart. 💖
