great review Jack, and a very professional production with so many camera angles, air to air, onboard narration .. the whole package. Fantastic work, looking forward to your SIV analysis.

Thanks a lot Greg! We have put a lot of effort into this one, with the addition of Mael who now films and edits the vlogs for me, it's really stepped it up. Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice one Jack, I had an absolute blast on my 24 last week on my vol biv across France and Switzerland! I can also report on one aspect that you didn’t mention - it makes a damn fine alternative to a sleeping bag on vol biv trips - the nitinol rods stop it from scrunching up 😂

Nice review Jack, thanks, looking forward to Part 2. The new Organya takeoff looks great, i hated the previous little cutout with the wing in the dead zone. I guess the town are trying to attract more PG business.
@JackPimblett5 жыл бұрын
The takeoff makes a world of difference, its about 2 times bigger now if not more. The town have invested quite a lot into it as you guessed, which is awesome.

That was a great review! Thanks Jack! Too bad we lost Jon, he was a savage and a wonderful person to call a friend. I’m happy you guys got to fly together. I’m sure gonna miss him.

Thanks Kevin, much appreciated. Dude, I am in disbelief over what happened and distraught to hear of another friend going. He charged and was such a good man to hang with. He always told me to embrace the free fall and I'll never forget that ❤️

Super bummed, he was one of my mentors! We have a small tight knit group here in Oregon. He was known and loved by all. I went and had a solo flight on 8/1, it was my goodbye. If you get over to the states come and say hello!!

The only thing I would add are swivells on the handles. Anyway the glider looks like it's great to fly. At the moment I'm flying on Artik5 which also have nitinol rods and I can confirm: once you get them you will never want anything different than nitinol.
@JackPimblett4 жыл бұрын
Yeah that would be good, but this glider is all about saving weight where possible. I agree with you there, I flew the Omega a couple of weeks ago and it was too windy to pack. I stuffed it in the bag and I didn't have a chance to pack if for 2 or 3 days. When I got around to packing it, all the roads were still in perfect shape.

NiTi is actually a shape memory alloy! So it actually has ALL of the memory! Haha

That's right, but Jack is definately not an engineer ! But I let him say that because it could have taken hours if he had to say it more than once
@JackPimblett5 жыл бұрын
You are totally right! I know NiTi has memory but I forgot to explain myself correctly after 300 times of shooting the same scene.

The structure has memory, thats what nitinol about!!!

Yes indeed! I just messed up my words. But you're right, it has memory so it returns to its original shape.

Other hand super review! You have got great skill to do PG! Keep on rollin the camera! :D I am curious about Zeolite GT handling compare to OXA3. Cheers, AirGabor, airgabor76 on youtube officially
