Thats not only "sing from your diaphragm" . Connected vocal chords, pharyngeal resonance, vocal fry- compression, mixed voice and so on. Im tired hearing "just sing from your diaphragm and everything will be ok" i never learned to sing from this tip. Nobody else will😀 . Her looong year vocal coach is brett manning. @@Ice.muffin Amy Lee is on a whole other level... like operatic levels. Noone could ever compare to that voice!! Evanescence is my favorite 😍
@cius962 жыл бұрын
@@lilsproutbb actually Hayley at her best is almost on Amy Lee's level, maybe slightly below. It's not like comparing apple to oranges. And Hayley is more versatile, she can adapt to different stiles... if you try to make Amy sing a more punk-rockish upbeat song her voice would sound kinda out of place (ex. I'm thinking about, say, "Fences", "Ignorance" or "Emergency"), whereas if Hayley would try cover any of Evanescence's ballads, like "My Immortal" (or any goth rock song), she would surely do a great job, no doubt about it.

It's obvious that she is a trained vocalist... She has many marks of a trained singer; vibrato, clear clearrr open vowels, pure tone, does not swallow notes, consonants are clear but sharp and subtle, connected and fluid breath, head is level with the neck and parallel to the ground, I could go on... By the way, by this I mean it is a good thing!! It makes all the difference

Same age as me, but I found out about Paramore probably in the early 2010s when my daughter was really into the vampire movie Twilight and wanted me to watch it with her all the time. This song is on the closing credits of the movie, and I was like “who’s that, it’s amazing!” So I Shazammed it, and ever since then I’ve loved Paramore. Their sound is their own, and unmistakable. Hayley Williams is awesome.

Hailey's range is nothing short of amazing. She hold a clear timbre throughout and does not hold back in the high register. Her purity as a vocalist should be the benchmark for others to follow. Also, the guitars set a wonderful backdrop and even in live versions the drum and bass compliment the whole package. Brava!

@theredcebuano9968 жыл бұрын
the effort of singing is, oddly, to have no effort. Physical effort gives a lot of strain to the voice
@atithesnail8 жыл бұрын
In terminology, you call a singer effortless, if they sing without shitting their pants, meaning they are in a very good shape, don't have to strain at all to get the high notes. Here, Hayley - tho she's really passionate - technically she doesn't strain at all, she just nails every note without any extra effort, which is rare for rock singers.

Listening to this woman sing makes me cry every single damn time. Such a gifted voice. So much emotion If you listen to her now, she's singing even better. Hayley William's voice ages like fine wine; it gets better and better with the passing year.

I knew Paramore when I was a teenager but never gave em attention, don´t even know why. Now after 12 years I felt in love with Hayley and her voice. This song is so good and her voice gives me shimmers, hope I can hear them live someday. Greetings from Czech republic.

How can I decide what's right When you're clouding up my mind? I can't win your losing fight all the time Now, can I ever own what's mine When you're always taking sides? But you won't take away my pride No, not this time Not this time How did we get here? Well, I used to know you so well But how did we get here? Well, I think I know The truth is hiding in your eyes And it's hanging on your tongue Just boiling in my blood But you think that I can't see What kind of man that you are? If you're a man at all Well, I'll figure this one out On my own (I'm screaming, "I love you so") On my own (but my thoughts you can't decode) Oh, how did we get here? Well, I used to know you so well, yeah hey How did we get here? Well, I think I know Do you see what we've done? We gone and made such fools of ourselves Do you see what we've done? We gone and made such fools of ourselves Yeah, yeah, hey How did we get here? Well, I used to know you so well, yeah, yeah hey, yeah Oh, how did we get here? Well, I used to know you so well I think I know I think I know Oh, there is something I see in you It might kill me, but I want it to be true

Hayley’s voice is just flawless. So clear and concise, even when belting. But it’s not just her technique that makes her so perfect, it’s also the way she portrays emotion using her voice. Not every singer can do that. Oh Hayley 😍❤️
