I recently had the exact same issue with my selfie stick when flying! Then after I fixed the lanyard attachment, I noticed my camera on the end limp, then had to tighten that too! Glad to see im not the only one!

I was a cop for 28 years before retiring. Cops like all kinds of outdoor or exciting stuff just like regular folks. I know a cop that races cars, several that fly drones, lots of hunters, several with ATVs or Side by Sides, and at least one that wants to do paramotoring.

I'm a cop near Oklahoma City, I'd 100% be down to fly in a paramotor. Especially if Tucker was piloting the craft.

this looks fun to experience someday. could you do a recommendation video on the different types of gliders and stuff. example, this type is good for cruising, this for tricks, this for speed, this for fair weather or windy conditions, something like that.?

Love the straight as an arrow reference but seem to remember something from maybe smarter every day channel about how an arrow wiggles back and forth during flight. Crazy physics.!

For product reviews that aren't aimed at beginners using some paramotor terminology is okay. Probably pick the language based on the target audience of the product. Mix some of the great scenery and other fun elements to get your regular non-paramotor audience like myself.

I love my viperXC. I burn 2.2L/hr trimmed neutral with my nirvana f-light 200. It's the apex of XC setups.

Ever fly over another glider track on speed bar and have a total frontal collapse? I did, almost dirtied myself! Taught me to be more aware of other glider tracks. Btw, lost about 400 feet before I pumped out the collapse. I’d had it happen before on final and only realised it after the latter event, before that I thought it was CAT!

Viper XC will almost certainly be my next wing. I just don't know what size yet. Would like to try an 18 at some point.

I had a dream a few days ago that I drove out into the desert for a big paramotoring race or something, except I was TG and most of the dream was just flying around the desert over the cacti and whatnot, but there were a bunch of people there and I was flying off further south/southwest of the actual event just cruising around.

Did you like completely inspect it before maidening the wing or does one just generally trust the merchants in this hobby? Really really curious, I'm assuming you do inspect fully before trusting your life to it, right? cheers out of Germany

I bought a second hand paraglider in 2008, I got it serviced before I started training. I'm curious, how much has Paraglider wing technology advanced since 2005? Might be worth an episode.

Not sure you can really say viper xc is very high aspect ratio. Nor that most gliders are four liners when there are so many 2 and 2.5 liner models out there.

Great and accurate review of the viperxc here. Wish I had seen this before buying my 22m viperxc. I expected it to be more fun in the turns and was disappointed. Great xc wing though.

I just got asked to leave a local park for kiting. I had placed myself in a corner away from anyone and was there for maybe five minutes when a park worker drove up and asked me if I was planning on launching (No motor anywhere in sight). I told him that I was just practicing and he said "Well the cops are on the way". I packed up and left. Damn.

You wouldn't have to ask me twice. I raced go-karts when I was 7-8 and sometimes there would be paramotor trikes flying over the track. Would have done anything (as a kid) to get up there.

Hello, I’m trying to figure out the best paramotor manufacturing website/company, for both the glider and the cage with the engine and prop itself. I am trying to find a lightweight paramotor that provides lots of thrust and a wing that is lightweight and made for cruising. If you could respond with some tips that would be great.

How about taking a recently retired Officer para-flying, or maybe even teaching me to. I'm already an ATP pilot aware of the FAR's and such... I'm working/playing at the moment as an A&P / Pilot for a small airline in New England.

Cop encounter didn't seem too awkward to me, he did mention that he got no call and was just interested (perfect job for being interested in random things people do...^^) and taking him flying should happen. He's probably not allowed to while being the only officer on location.
