No one will ever replace Peter Cullen as Optimus, but you gotta remember this is Orion Pax, Optimus Primes younger self.

I see a lot of people already hating this. The goofier feeling to this movie makes so much sense as this takes place before the war between the autobots and deceptions. These characters can be more than just serious when there isn’t a war to fight yet. I’m excited for this!

This looks really cool, people are hating on it because it’s different, but different isn’t always a bad thing. The idea of an immature Orion pax and megatron is actually a cool concept that I think we need to see more of. It’s like Rise of the beasts all over again, people flipped out when the first trailer came out and ended up loving the movie when it released, I think everyone just needs to chill a bit

Why are so many people hating? This looks like a super fun ride! We've had so many serious Transformers already (I mean as serious as movies about transforming alien robots can be lolol) and I'm here for some new ideas. But I understand people liking different things, just let's actually wait until it comes out before we start hating.

Broooo I waited years for THIS!

Wasn't expecting this at all, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Transformers does work well with a light-hearted, comedic tone imo, it always has. The quintessons look awesome here, too. Seeing Airachnid (or Blackarachnia?) was totally unexpected but very cool. I hope they lean more towards the Sunbow cartoon's origin story, rather than the IDW pre-war stuff with all the political intrigue. We've never really seen a new version of that, the whole thing with the Quintessons taking over the planet and the Transformers rebelling against them, splintering into the civil war factions that would define them in the process. Not gonna lie, I'm a little hyped. Might actually see this one in theaters when it comes out.

I'm absolutely baffled that to their LAST BREATH, there were STILL people who SOMEHOW never knew the movie was gonna be fully animated, despite MULTIPLE SOURCES telling us MULTIPLE TIMES for the past 3 YEARS AT LEAST that it was gonna be fully animated. (And probably not aimed at adults too, since Transformers never really was except for the movies!) Quit complaining that a CHILDREN'S FRANCHISE is making a movie aimed at CHILDREN (for all we know it probably wont be) Congratulations guys, united, you might all just share one brain cell. I'll be seeing this in theaters, while you'll be stuck figuring out how whqt a theater even is. Now shut up and be grateful you're getting anything at all.

Thoughts: animation and humor are 50/50 (tho cannot say they are bad, at least from the first trailer) I am absolutely excited to see Elita-1 among the main cast, young OP and Megs relationship, exploration of Cybertron's flora and fauna, certain characters (there was a spider one, so it might be Arachnid/Blackarachnia or maybe somebody else), and also there seem to be some writings in Cybertronian that i'll be more than happy to decipher Conclusion: too soon to conclude anything lol, but for now i'm absolutely excited for it!

They turned the dark, dramatic and politically charged source material into an adventure for young children... I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t explain why the other bots have normal names, but Megatron has D-16, because to see two strong friends with just such different names quite strange.

It's supposed to be Ultra Magnus or Ironhide. I was massively looking forward to this one. Alas. Maybe I'll check it out on streaming.
