Many years ago I was given a little metal card with the image in a split panel of a kid throwing a banana peel on the ground and then falling down.
A few days ago I glanced at it and thought it would be interesting to play around with writing a super short song that might encapsulate the simple story those two panels represented.
So the song came in at one minute eight seconds-108
A number I have always enjoyed. A whole different story…
So then it was just a matter of sitting down and sketching off the tiles/slides. As simple as they are I must say it is rather self indulgent to sit down and spend that much time scribbling. But I wouldn't do it if I didn't enjoy it, and how else does one improve without running scales as it were.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this and thank you for the feedback I get each time I upload one of my quirky little projects.
A recent comment encouraged me to go back and animate some road signs. Making it, I guess the third or fourth time I've played with the idea but I made a point of adding it to the Pike Place video outro. And that comment has me excited about doing a collection along those lines. So please feel free to bounce feedback my way. Thanks
