Going to Cornell to work in the physics department in 40 days. That promises to be an acid bath of insanity. I wrote a long complaint against this "decolonization" on a Canadian free speech website. I am a physicst. I also refuse to publish or review in/for any journal asking for my "gender" or "race". This is outrageous. The "decolonizers" at Concordia wrote: “The very survival of our Elders depended on observations of weather and animal migration patterns and expertise in subsistence ways of living,” she explains. “Our Elders’ wisdom and their contribution to knowledge creation at Concordia is just as important as that of the Western scientist, maybe more so, given the state of the world today.” I replied that this is true of any living human culture. My own Merovingian, 1/2 German, 1/2 Gallo-Roman, barbarian ancestors survived for exactly the same reasons.... yet they did not come up with the scientific method in 500AD. The scientific method emerged out of the pre-Renaissance philosophy of the likes if St-Thomas-Aquinas, Roger Bacon, etc.... and took off thanks to Galileo and others. It is the one contribution of the West that is UNIVERSALLY accepted. When I spend time in President's Xi China, I study physics with the same method. No Chinese way of physics even in that country. Yet in "democratic" Canada, we must reject the scientific method. It took 400 years of European efforts to create Canada. It took Justin Trudeau 8 years to destroy it.

@@R_V_ c Non, Canadien français pure laine et donc tous mes ancêtres sont du nord de la France et tous des colons du 17e et 18e siècles en Nouvelle-France. J'ai cependant répudié la citoyenneté canadienne après le voyage d'Halloween de l'infâme bouffon aux Indes. Je suis maintenant citoyen japonais. Je suis nationaliste et donc mortellement opposé au multiculturalisme et au post-nationalisme du bouffon à Ottawa. J'ai quitté le Québec en 1980 pour les USA dégoûté que les Québécois puissent voter Lévesque et PE Trudeau en même temps. (p’têt ben qu’oui, p’têt ben qu’non: c'est bien normand. Moi je me branche.) J'ai quitté les USA (la Californie) en 1995. J'étais à Berkeley et je sentais déjà les courants post-modernistes en 1985. Maintenant je suis heureux au Japon et je mourrerai ici. Que le diable emporte l'Occident si c'est leur choix.

Eh... For a professor of a psychology related field, I expected better. He does a decent job of injecting associative biases, so if you're not paying attention, he might fool you. Too bad for Cornell that he uses their name to associate himself with intellect.

I have a loud, muscular Harley Davidson. I regularly drive by a pre-school in the morning when the kids are out at recess, and without exception it is the boys who drop what they're doing and stare gleefully at my motorcycle as I ride by. I started waving as I rode by. At that point, the girls would participate. More girls would wave than boys. This is a purely anecdotal observation, but I think it reveals that there is a biological component to preferences, roles, agreeability, etc.

Always love the sound of a Harley. Not at all sure what that has to do with sex. Used to be more boys were into horses than girls. When I went to horse camp in the '60's there were more boys than girls, now you'd have to search several states for the same number of boys than the number of girls in one county that ride. Same for working dogs. I don't know when the last time I saw a male GP, remember when all the smart boys wanted to be doctors? Although I do agree that in general human males are less agreeable than females, there are few males who experience the 'mean girl' phenomenon. My theory is those girls are behind a good percentage of young female suicides.
