There were “adults” (college age counselors) in every cabin when I did Outdoor Education. Boys with boys, girls with girls. Supervision was absolutely needed in my cabin multiple times. Stuff happens, and it goes without saying that children should not be left alone in cabins in a campground at night or at anytime.

It /is/ for safety and accountability. If you don't have an adult /in the room/ at all times then you have no accountability for anything bad that happens (be it am injury, student harrasment, etc). A lawsuit is just waiting to happen at that point. And even if these patrols checked on the students every once and a while there's still moments where they are unattended. Line of sight is an extremely important policy in all schools. Would you want an elementary classroom to be left unsupervised behind closed doors? Would you leave an 8 year old at home alone for a whole night? Would you let a group of elementary school students stay in a hotel room with no supervision?

It’s only poor judgement if it was an oversight. This is deliberate.

@@AmyWhoLovesFlowers we never once had reacher sharing a room with us when we went on school trips when I was young. They would stay in the next room and keep a check on our door through the night. Teachers sharing rooms with children is far from normal behavior.

@@austinveneman326 The official position is T-women (males) are women. This is happening today in all Western nations. In most countries the laws have already been changed to allow it. Most people dont realize it yet because it is all being done without public consultation or discussion. In fact discussion is not permitted. They are focussing on schools & children with the intention of creating a growing market of young children demanding medical & surgical procedures to erase their biological sex (impossible of course). The expectation is it will grow to be a multi-billion industry in the next years.

I believe allot more of this is going on than you might think. I live on a public lake. A couple summers ago, there was a huge group of small children and consolers from "Trackers Earth Portland" that offer Day and Overnight Camps for kids. While doing my daily walk i noticed two of the adult consolers very obviously male, were wearing makeup and dresses with separate groups of 8-10 children each. "Trackers Earth Portland" is a huge organization so i went on their website and there was no mention of crossdressing males consoling groups of children. So I made a post (not mean or malicious) on "Trackers Earth Portland" youtube channel simply asking if the parents were aware of this, especially since they have overnight camps also. This so whatever ones views, parents are able to make informed decisions regarding their children. I quickly got my answer because my youtube post was removed within 20 mins. I then made the same polite/informative post on Yelp and got an email the next day my post was removed for "violating rules". It doesn't take a genius to understand why this is a bad and dangerous idea, but the people in charge of these organizations and review sites don't seem to care. The simple fact that they are trying to hide this, indicates they understand fully that what they are doing isn't right.
