I grew up in a very horse and hound family and I can't even remember when each dog was introduced to us... but it's obvious these kids and wanted their own dog for so long! When kids absolutely melt over something like this you've got to have a heart of stone not to see the pure joy. Every kid should have a pet.. or should I say every dog and cat should have a human!

These are my favorite. I remember when i got my childhood dog. I was around 9, i came home from school and there he was. A beautiful german Shepard, full blooded, AKC registered with a bloodline back to Germany but i didn't understand all that at that time. I was literally so happy i was shaking and squealing. The phone rang and i answered in this screech of a hello. My dads friend on the other line was like what is happening to Andrea. Had that dog until in my 20s when my step mom let him out and forgot about him. He was hit by a car. I still carry some anger and resentment towards her over that. Seriously, how irresponsible can u be and a so called grown woman with no job. Sat on the couch watching soaps and left the dog out to explore without being tied up or supervised. Lol sorry i just.....it broke my heart.
