First story: so she can't ask what prices are? That doesn't make her a gold digger talking about money, she could just be curious and wanting to know how much it cost cause she might wanna buy something but wants to know the cost before hand. So I would say the A-hole, op should've said politely to stop asking those questions or talking about it period isn't of being a jerk and embarrassing her Infront of the family The last story: wtf, what's so funny about ruining a child's favorite clothing and ruining there cake? That's so horrible, I feel so bad for the kids. And op didn't ruin Christmas it was the husband, 100% not the A-hole

First story: It wasn't just that during lunch she was shaming for how much they spent. And the day before the gfs bf was meant to talk to her but he didn't so the sister did the talking. If she could shame her in front of everyone then op can put her in her place in front of everyone

I get & understand what ur saying self for the beginning was fine than after the gift giving & talking about the trip girlfriend talk about money & price she did come off that way even though she didn’t meant to be that way OP brother could’ve say to his girlfriend lay off on that plus she’s a guess at persons house I don’t think OP the asshole fully I go to people house I look at stuff they have some is cool looking I don’t ask I keep to myself I’m self reserve OP could’ve handled it better pull girlfriend on the side talk to her lay off on the price pointing than again it would make OP the asshole for calling brother girlfriend gold digger at the end the brother should’ve talked to his girlfriend lay off on the price pointing

About story two- eh, if I had kids like her I wouldn’t have stayed with them. It’s there fault for eating stuff like that when they know the consequences.
