À Montréal nous avons un beau Métro aussi avec le MR-73 & l'AZURE qui est entré en service vous devrier voir l'Azure une vrai merveille.

Pérusse Roger c’est vrai qu’il est beau le métro sur pneus de MTL. Les responsables dans les années 60 avaient été inspirés par leurs visites dans le métro parisien.

Very interesting summary. They do have some interesting rolling stock. So although French main line trains run on the left, the Metro runs on the right then? I've just noticed that

Paris Subway runs at right . RER , Transilien (commuter rail, suburban ) runs at left .😊

On the lines 1,4,6,11 and 14 the subway cars are tires because in 1950s60s it was less noisy than the subway cars with iron wheels. The subway cars rubber tires are sooo confortable , I have the impression that the subway car floating like clouds ...🌫️🌬️🌠it's wonderful. But... This subway cars are so noisy , more noisy than subway iron wheels !

Mi84 forever ahh ok so it was original to cut the noise down but now the new ones are so loud like many of these new electric vehicles. They say the older electrics have always been quieter even on jointed rail. Imagine if there was welded rail on the metro!

Good, just one thing; you forgot the *MP-14.* Billyflorian used to have some videos of it, but apparently he deleted them..

The MP14 is still in the testing phase. It will enter revenue service this year.

The line 10 splits from this station. Westbound trains pass through because the next station (Eglise d'Auteuil) is close and located higher.

Spiritt Chaser Paris's metro (subway/underground) exists for almost if not more than hundred years. Unless you can name a city that has older metrosystem in Asia than Paris I would not talk very big.
