Even when you watched Columbo you will not understand who is the culprit She is everthing apart "natural" and rate a "brioche pate feuilleté inversé" at the top of croissant competition is just no sense as progressissm attempt to take magnificience of concept just to distort it in its own torpor. Granted, I have not tasted the Cheval Blanc croissant, however for me, and I've tasted croissants in a myriad boulangeries in Paris, nothing can match the buttery Maison d'Isabelle croissant! Sitting across the Bd Saint-Germain in the Metro café with my coffee and Maison d'Isabelle croissant I experience the "actual" taste of Heaven!

Loved your 'attempt' to find the best croissant. For me, who loves to make recipes to serve on a croissant, your Cheval Blanc choice, makes for a great 'reference', for one could warm it up in thick slices to then layer scrambled or sunny side up eggs, with a thin slice of crispy bacon, at breakfas, or a lobster salad wrapped in lettuce; trapped in the warmed up croissant served with a glass of chilled chardonnay from the Gard appelation area. I truly enjoyed your shows; because the issue I have nowadays, is that there are not enough bekeries that delve into making the produc, Real, just as we enjoyed it in the past. Congrats for the effort!!!!

I LOVE YOUR VIDEO and I don't know why no one commented how incredibly gorgeous Mara is. I don't know how you can eat croissant and stay thin but wow.....Kudos. I notice French women are not as big as American. But French food is soooo good though. How do you guys stay in shape? Anyways, can't wait for your next video. And yes French bakery is really really expensive in the U.S. My croissant is 5 to 6 dollars from a French pop up store in farmer's market not LVMH hotel.

the sandwich loaf shape of croissants has been popularized for a decade and more in East Asian cities like Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea. the price for a piece like the one you are having is around Euro 3 dollars, which is double or even triple of the price of a regular plain wheat sandwich loaf. that's why many of us who bake at home diy this 🍞😋 (still not cheap though cos flour and butter are imported goods. we don't have any kind of farms here)

Brioche is geting trendy in America. Some stores like aldi is selling brioche filled with vanilla or without it imported from france.I found one for 3.45 dollars .It was so delicious and found out that france has one of best pastries of the world.
