Enough people sending letters and requesting meetings with the *right* people. Seems like, the more time you spend in DC, the more you know who those *right* people are.

Good morning and good to see you. Shame what’s happening. Opportunistic profiteering gluttons. Sadly, next we’ll see private entities will chip away and these lands could lose their protection, in our life time, I fear. Shouldn’t ever happen.

As I have lobbied staff members and elected officials in Washington, DC in years past, you are certainly correct that many of the staff members have little knowledge of the issues. You are also correct that the federal government is a massive machine in which no one understands the huge machine. Sometimes, a staff member will insert language into a bill based upon the efforts of a single individual. I thank you for going to Washington DC to lobby our representatives.

I’m going to have to trust in USPS to get my thoughts across to my senator, Sen. Risch, who DOES sit on the appropriate committee, because he has a 1500 character limit on emails. I pared the rec.gov section way, way down to fit, but will be investing in postage to get my full ideas across.

Thank you for all your work! I sent your write up to my three congress people. I couldn't tell from googling that TX was in the right committees, but hopefully good will still come. I found your channel when Yellowstone flooded. The third week in July we took our two teens to Yellowstone and Glacier. We missed Lamar valley but got to enjoy the rest.

Thanks for your activism on this topic. Even though I’m not a citizen of the USA this does greatly impact my decisions about traveling to the USA in the future. I love the US National Parks and have spent a lot of time camping in Yellowstone and Glacier. The reservation systems that are continuing to expand make it hard to do any kind of spontaneous trips into some parks or make plans depending on the weather forecast.

Hi Park Junkie. Sorry to take so long to watch this. Anyway, I have a couple of groups I'm going to send this video link to. I've known these folks for awhile and I'm certain at least one of them will join you in the fight. I appreciate that setup you had that made it painless for me to do my part, so thanks. Also thanks for what you are doing. I've never said, but I'm a 67 year old stroke survivor and your videos are something I loved and I do miss them. I can't go to the parks, but you made it possible for me to go with you. Please feel free to include that small testimonial in your information packet if you wish to. There are a lot of disabled people counting on guys like you to show us the places we will never go. 'Never give up, never surrender!'

Good morning Todd! Would you say that profit is being made by a few rotten apples? what can we say/do about individual players as well as the system or systems in play? Who is doing what to whom for how much? Who is on first whats on second? I agree with your judicious time statement!! Time must be wisely spent showing the good -turning lemons into lemonade!! 😮

The spirit of John Muir lives on, you're doing good work. This nation was built by people who had a vision for the future they wanted to leave for those who came after them. We owe it to those who sacrificed to build this nation to honor their legacy and continue the work they started.

Hi. My name is Orlando Mergal and I produce the Puerto Rico By GPS KZfaq channel. I totally concur with all your views about the USPS. However, Puerto Rico is a US colony, so we have little to no clout in the US Congress. I did want to ask you: have you considered taking this issue on national TV? I’m sure that someone like NBC or PBS might be willing to give you some air time. What do you think?

Would staging protests in strategic location bring awareness to the situation help? I sent letters to mine and I got very generic responses from two and one I didn't even get a response from.

You buried the lead. The National park told you to stop filming? Did they contact you? I hope they didn't fine you. Keep up the good work. I will be spreading the word and contacting my senators.

Thanks again for your efforts Todd! I've fired off my letters and encouraged others to do the same. Not to cast aspersions on certain other content creators, but I get the sense from some travel vloggers that, although they're aware, they seem to think passage of these acts is a done deal. I've mentioned it on live streams with hopes to get them and their viewers to take some action. Hopefully some will feel motivated to at least send a letter. Keep up the good fight!
