Thanks Lee. We've lost several friends over the last 3 years. Those left, and taken the shots have become noticeably emotionless!! Something has definitely affected their brains... Don't relate to many now?? Just the like-minded.

I visit properties thru work (delivery driver) yesterday I went to two houses where the occupant (40s-50s blokes) had recently had ❤ attacks, rushed to the November hotel Sierra and stents fitted for blockages ...both said they had no previous issues, both looked reasonably fit..and yes you guessed it 💉💉...and I keep coming across this...one of my work colleagues had the same issue, I tried to explain what I thought might have been the cause...he ignored me for 18months, while we are polite to each now, say hello etc the friendship has been damaged beyond repair... The last 4 years for me has been a real eye opener watching human behavior.

The 'normie' has had a crisis of self-confidence. They got tricked. They know it, but won't admit it. They have lost confidence in their own judgement.

I was born on the Isle of Wight! There's a café/bar near me that I used to like to go to, pre 2020. Family run, bit Corsican, bit rough, you have a black coffee at the bar at 6am before work with the all the other early risers. They were the last types I thought would fall for the wotsit. But they did. In every way. It took me a long time but I go back in there now. I've buried the hachet. Not that they even knew there was a hatchet. I leave my mum in there sometimes and they spoil her. They're good folk really. Then I think, "But they would have sold me down the river three years ago." It’s hard, Lee. About work. I've been staying in quite a few hotels lately. I used to work as a chambermaid. Good God. We used to have to be so fast. Audrey taught me how to do a bed by folding out the sheets against the clock. (Almost.) Terrified of the gouvernante. (Head housekeeper.) Who was always a witch, wherever you went. There weren't so many of us either. Is it my imagination, or did check in time at a hotel always used to be 1pm? Now you can't check in till 4. The rooms aren't ready. We used to start at seven and finish 1 to 1.30pm. In all the hôtels I've been in lately, there has been hordes of staff in the corridors, talking, having a drink from the complimentary water fountain, with huge trolleys full of cleaning gear. We had a cloth and some pink stuff from gallon containers in squirty bottles, a geriatric hoover and stuck our heads under the tap. Paid in cash, by the day. Was it better? Not really. But it's certainly changed.

What I’ve noticed is that people blow smoke or vape right in your face as you’re walking, with no qualms whatsoever. It’s every single vaper/smoker without exception. It’s new, I think. Manners have gone out the window.

Hi Lee, just thought I'd mention this. I learned that one of my old work mates from around 7 years ago had suddenly passed away a few months ago. Obviously people pass away all of the time so who knows ??? But he was aged 57 so not exactly young but you know what I mean. Anyway, my wife has a Facebook account , which some of my workmates were in her friends list. When I heard the sad news from there, I checked out his account, scrolled backwards for a bit then there it was. He had put a post up in 2021 saying "Got my c vac today" , then around three to four months later another post saying " Got my B (rooster) today. One of his friends had asked him which one he had and he replied the A Z. He's now not with us anymore and I always have the thought of I wonder if it was it or not. Will never know which this can be exactly the case for many cases I'm sure.

Why should people work their arses off and contrary to the old adage hard work undoubtedly has killed people. The next five years are going to be very challenging in many ways and I wouldn't blame anyone for taking their foot off the gas.

I've noticed a strange phenomenon as well. People have started putting a space before a punctuation mark. Obviously, this is a very minor thing, but it does signal another change in people's behaviour.

Parking, painting and hawk tuahing... is that a modern twist on the old school rock, paper scissors?? 😂

I think quality of driving has been slowly going downhill but now it's worse than ever,if the drivers are not texting while driving,they're running red lights,not being aware at junctions and roundabouts,just totally zoned out,all these I've experienced since going out with hubby on the bike.People's personalities have changed dramatically!! One of the reasons I came off FB in 2020 is because I could not stand how people changed and not for the better.

Ar Bist Lee :-) Got into conversation with friends that we havent seen in ages and the topic got around to recent "happenngs". I was saddened to hear that they thought the powers that be had done a "wonderful job" (ye gods!) so attemttped to give an alternative view on events (backed up by the revelations that have since come out)..... was faced with outrage by speaking such blashemy agaist the narrative they had been fed...(like you all I saw were people taken in and that i no longer had anything in common with )...ending up with the male of the party stomping off in genuine fury shouting they werent going to listen to any more of MY nonsense.... now i seriously wonder about their thinking and whether they would have my back in a future emergency :-/

What I’ve noticed is that ppl avoid eye contact and prefer not saying hello etc or anything if they can possibly avoid it. I’m also talking about ppl we have known awhile too, like neighbours etc. nobody seems v friendly overall other than the occasional few here and there but generally seem to prefer to be totally in their own strange and weird bubble

At my work, you have to park within the line markings, or you get a parking charge. I think that is why people take a number of goes now to try any get within these lines.
