Red Light Therapy (Photobiomodulation) and the science behind its possibilities is a growing topic within the Parkinson's community. Watch this video, the second of two that No Silver Bullet recorded to share with PwP.
Dr. Lew Lim, CEO, and founder of Vielight Inc. spoke to us on the topic of Red Light Therapy, “Photobiomodulation as a Promising Treatment for Parkinson’s”. The session took place on the 20th of September.
Dr. Lim received educational accreditations in Engineering, Natural Medicine, and Neuroscience from the University of California Berkeley, Quantum University, and Duke University. He is widely recognized as a knowledge leader in the application of light for brain stimulation. He is the main inventor for much of the technology in this field which is now widely used around the world both for daily consumer use and in research.
In the quest for a treatment for Parkinson’s, photobiomodulation (PBM), a non-drug approach, has been building credible promising evidence. However, the modality is relatively unknown and misunderstood.
