It's great that you are able to make friends in faraway places, Gabriel. It surely must be a comfort to you, to have home bases (away from your true home, in California) and people with whom you can just relax with, in order to take a break from all your frenetic travels, from time to time. Sorry if my curiosity ever rankles. I am just a naturally very, VERY curious person, is all. And, your travels do compel people to ask you about YOU, about your pals, and also compel us to want to get to know you a bit better.

🖌 I also want to add that Nicole and Christos appear to live quite well, indeed! Their home is sumptuous and lovely to behold, as is both her art work and personal style. I love folks who have flair, style, and are also able to express such, with style and flair, as well! 🖌 I reckon Nicole inherited her flair for artistic expression from her Mum, as well, eh? Nice that talents get passed down through the generations, isn't it?

Funny thing is that I like seeing what people EAT, and the prices of what they eat in US dollars, for equivalency's sake. I hope I am not the only one who likes seeing this. I know I am NOT the only person who likes seeing those "What's in my fridge?" videos, though, LOL.

It is really a nice island, actually I like to be close to the sea all the time . To see the beach , the sunset and hear the voice of the waves is just a dream. I like her art and the colours are very optimistic. Wish you good luck Gabe and by the way I like your new sandals 👍😄

The Croatian island of Hvar is named after that Greek island, more than two millennia ago settlers from Paros founded the city of Hvar on the island of the same name.

The Dalmatian coast is full of Greek colonies. Where there is a sea and a coastline at some point Greeks settled there. 😜

It was wonderful to see Nicole and Christos. I enjoyed seeing what their lives are like on Paros. It was very interesting to have Nicole discuss her artwork! Nicole is absolutely wonderful and her art is interdiemesional, alive and just pure gorgeous. Just got back from a long bike ride. Took some shrooms at the beginning and just got back home. Stuffing my face with enough food for 3 people and see this art literally dancing on the screen in front of me. That’s truly some special things she’s doing with them there hands and colors. Gabe is truly in his element while in Greece. Think he need to get his triple citizenship there already. I’m going to stop rambling now. Ramble

Hi Gabriel, you have such a sense of traveling and I get the sense that much doesn't faze you with all the traveling exposure and dealing with many different situations it's an acquired thing and subjecting yourself sort of building resistance to many social situations.

Excellent video Gabriel! 26:32 Cicadas can be in a so huge population at a place in Greece, more often in olive groves, that the noise can be more than intolerable. Think to be at a house in this place. 18:23 "Parasporos", I make a guess here, maybe is from the words Paros and poros. Poros means "pore", also means "resource", "vent", and "narrow pass" as well. 20:46 Aliki (Αλυκή, not Αλίκη) means saltmarsh or a place with saltworks, I don't know which is the case of the two here. Either the water in the bay has a lot of salt or the place was used for saltworks in the past, to use in fish conservation at a time where no refrigerators were available. 25:34 Omg, work-work-work. Hey Gabriel, the best tables were the ones at the beach, you should caught that one! 26:02 Aha! That's the reason Gabriel got that table!

OMG. You really should do some reading up about places before you video them. Marathi Ancient Quarry. Prospective World Heritage Site. Parian marble from Marathi was used at the Acropolis etc etc and for the Venus de Milo fyi.

Holiday on Paros in 2000. Week after we left ferry hit an small island and sank. Still a great place to visit and holiday on.

@@GabrielTravelerVideos yes that one. Strange holiday as while there the Paris Concorde crashed and then the ferry went down. Our small ferry from Mykonos to Paros nearly went over in high seas when it got caught by a wave and all the windows on starboard where under the water and on the way back the ferry rescued two people in a small boat whose engine has failed. On the plus side though had one of the best Long Island Ice Tea there by Naoussa port ever had. Have been told by other half no more ferry trips, no airport we don't go. Not sure if you have been but Symi is a great island to visit as well.

Great video! I watched eating Saganaki 😉 one of my favorite dishes, I learned how to make it, luckily there is a store in my city selling the cheese imported from Greece, so from time yo time I taste one of the best flavors from Greece. Have you ever been in Nafplio? I guess yes, that's for sure one of the most beautiful cities in Greece.

I have not personally been to Marathi but I think that is one of the ancient marble quarries of Paros. Paros Marble has the reputation of being the best marble in Greece because it is translucent. It was the main export on the island as far back as hellenistic time. As you can imagine, there were large numbers of slaves working in Paros quarries. Many monuments and statues in Greece were sculpted with marble from Paros, including Venus de Milo. Don't let the name fool you. She was rediscovered in Milos, but she is made out of Paros marble.

I don't know about paros but In Corfu that is bigger island u can find most of the stuff u can find in Athens or order them and get them in 1-2 days

Love your friend, she is wonderful.You should open up your channel to spirituality, makes it more vibrant and would be so interesting to see approaches from all the different countries you travel to. Just my humble thought.
