Part 1 - Bank 1 Lower Intake Removal - Audi A6 3.2 Front Job

This is part of a series of videos. I will be replacing the Thermostat, the Front Cylinder Head Coolant Pipe, the High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP), the Coolant Temperature Sensor O-ring and Clip, the Dual Cooling Fan Assembly and I will be fixing the Power Steering Fluid Leak.
This is Part 1. In this video, I remove bank 1 lower intake manifold after removing the upper intake manifold. But before, I decreased fuel pressure, secured the car, unlocked the doors and disconnected the battery. Make sure dirt does not fell into the intake ports.

Just did this job and was surprised how easy it was. I didn't have to depressurize the gas line tho. Just unplugged the negative side on the battery terminal and went to town. Keep up the great work. Btw my mom loves you lol.

Thanks for having the patience for uploading these videos. It makes my job a lot more easier and save a lot of money. I'm having an oil leak from the 'crankcase vent valve' aka oil separator. I'm not sure how much to torque the bolts. Would be great if you can share the information. Hoping that you have the workshop manual and be awesome if you can let me have it. Thanks Steve

I have the A4 Same year and engine! I just took fuel injectors out first time still misfiring. I need some refurbished ones battery method didnt work for me.

Thank you for you content, I love working on my 2008 audi A6 3.2Q and you made it an easier mission; however I am wondering if you can help me out. i see that you took out tuning valve actuator bank 1, VCDS is giving me the code intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1) P2070 stuck open. when I physically press the actuator it moves no problem. however when i do a test through VCDS the actuator doesn't move but if i rev my engine it does move. so how could it be stuck open is it the Solenoid broken is it the actually actuator i really don't know where to go with this.

I jad. Throttle position sensor code a while back I had to replace the throttle body and then I still had problems. Only to find out it was the mass air flow sensor that was causing the problem.

Do you have the 3.2 or the 2.4? The 3.2 does not have a MAF sensor but a MAP sensor.

In one of your videos you changed the green inlet manifold gaskets...I am trying to find the partnumber. After watching so many of your videos I cant find the right video. On the internet the green gaskets are round, as the ones in the manifold are oval. Can you help me with the right partnumber ? Please continu making these nice videos !!

Hello! My radiator fan has a lot of oil and scum on it. And i was told i have a leak going on somewhere, what do you think it would possibly be? I am scared to take it to a mechanic and they play tricks on me

Hi. It has to be the engine caps in front of the engine that are either missing or leaking. There are two caps on the driver's side and one cap on the passenger's side. Your engine may require total resealing because if these caps are leaking, there would be other leaks around. I continue to enjoy TAADIY videos. I have a question which is a bit off topic. This regards the adaptive control of the transmission shifting. I like the shifting I get after resetting the control by turning on the ignition and pressing the gas pedal down for a while. This improvement doesn't last though. Can I retard or turn off the adaptive control?

There isn't a specific pattern but it is always a good idea to install bolts from the inside out like I did in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qN2RiKiql9Wbf6s.html The torque spec is also important.

I got both out without removing the left side fuel line. (Passenger side) it had enough room to wiggle around for me to remove the Passenger side lower intake.

Hello , ive a a6 2007 2.7 with bad intake manifold code . Car consume 10 lit in 30 km city , does it consume so much becouse the intake manifold ? In highway 7lit/100km
