You guys fixing this stuff gives me hope. Dale is a Resto magician. Appreciate you turning me on to his channel. He is very thorough. Watching him work makes you understand tools, tech and determination it takes to do it proper from the frame up.

Some info, just as an FYI: The silver tag CT70’s were built from 06/69 thru 08/69. Honda produced roughly 15,500 silver tags, before switching to a black tag beginning in 09/69. I’ve kept a database of surviving silver tags for many years. If you’d like your bike added to the list, send me the frame number and engine number. The silver tag bikes have a number of different parts from the black tags. The handlebar knobs are unique to a silver tag. They are thinner than the later production knobs. Too bad you broke the one off, true silver tag knobs are hard to find. The hole in the frame is where the seat latch mounts. Not sure what they did to tear that out, in 30 years of building CT70’s, I’ve never seen that before. If you have any questions during your build, hit me up or go to my channel, lots of vids on CT70 stuff. Mike

Hey Kev. I'm working on a 1972 G5. I can't figure out why it won't crank. It did for a bit but now it won't. The weirdest thing is my carb is actually spitting fuel out of the choke hole. I can't understand this. I think my carb might be from a later year KE100. The bowl is oval with a brass double float.

Hey brother when can we get an update on the 102 build? And would it be feasible to swap a ke125 jug and head into a 100 case
