My take on this: •Case not closed •Need the name of the “supposedly” Immigration Officer who approached your husband @ the Transfer area. •PAL, after knowing about the situation with their communication with you should have gone the extra mile in expediting his return tkt to Uganda by getting in touch with Ethiopian Airlines. •This incident is indeed unique but not “RESOLVED” if you ask me. •I suggest you seek the help of Rafy Tulfo to get this resolved with an apology from PH Immigration - “if the truth lies on their negligence having their Immigration Officer roaming around the airport when their place is suppose to be the specific area “Processing Arriving Passengers.” •Somebody knows, let the truth & accountability out. I do not like trouble, but this case needs accountability of the responsible individual. If swept under the rug, soon will just be forgotten & possibility of a bigger problem to happen later. •I am sorry what your husband went through, you & your family. Thank you for sharing your story & awareness to “all”travelers. I pray justice will be served.🙏🏼 All the best to you & your beautiful family.❤

Yes, absolutely these couples need justice. If Mrs, Yiga could post this topic to Fb and everybody could share at tag Raffy Tolfo, so that they could explain and find justice to their case. Princess, I think pera, lagay ang hihintay ng babaeng immiration officer. Sindikato sila. Umuwi din kami ng Pinas, May, this year, nung pabalik na kami July 10, nasindikato naman kami sa bagej carrier 5 lugej isinakay namin, siningil kami ₱400, bukod pa bayad sa porter, tax at gusto pa kmi singilan sa Wheel chair!!! It means nagbalik mga sindikato sa airport ng nawala na si Duterte!!!!

I salute u for this knowing ur horror/experience story agnst pH Immigration . Mahaba Ang kwento mo but it's the fact - the real story of your hardship , the Agony that u have suffered emotionally.. Sis it is better to ask Senator Raffy Tulfo's help para maipatawag po ang involve sa issue na yan. Kasi for sure hindi lang nag iisang biktima ang asawa nyo po. Mas mabuti na ipatawag yang bruhang babaeng yan sa senado at magisa hindi lang sya kundi lahat ng nasa NAIA Immigration. Please sis pahelp ka po kay sir Wilbert na para ma reach out ang RTIA.

It’s hard to be aware of the laws and regulations in the Philippines. They are so convoluted and overlaps with other laws & regulations. The don’t simplify their laws because they allow a lot of room for corruption. They have lots of twists & turns in their bureaucracy so a layman won’t understand it. Get it? In order to unravel the bureaucracy, you have to hire crooked lawyers and then pay an arm and a leg. And, the list goes on and on. 😤😤😤 -Ava

You're not alone mam...Andaming lumalabas na issues against sa Bureau of Immigration sa Pinas ngayon...something to do with some Immigration Officials who act like gods, "some", not all. This video is very timely since it will add another proof that indeed, something has to be done sa BI. I would suggest po na lumapit kayo ke idol Raffy Tulfo. Kailangan po ninyo ng tulong mula sa tao na talagang lilinawin at tatapusin ang imbestigasyon para malinawan ang lahat. Huwag po kayo tumigil ng di malaman kung sino ang me kagagawan ng di tama kung ganoon nga at malinis naman ang lahat kung legal naman ang mga nangyari. Hi Princess Jane. I’m a Filipino living in Canada - have been living here for most of my life and had gotten married here. Every time I visit the Philippines with my family or with my husband, there’s always something that disappoints me in the Philippines. I’m married to a Filipino although we are both Canadian citizens now. Going back to your horror story, I’d like to inform you that A-A policy doesn’t sit well with me. First, because, I watched a blog of 3 young men bloggers from UK who went to Dubai and decided to fly to Bangladesh next but was turned away by the Bangladesh immigration so they decided to fly to the Philippines instead and was allowed to come into the country and stay. So, clearly, your husband should have been allowed to stay in the Philippines. Second, I’ve never heard of an immigration officer approaching passengers and telling them what their status in the country is, most especially, without scanning your husband’s passport. I can only think of the following reasons: 1) racism, 2) bribery, 3) power tripping. Government officials and staff in the Philippines are notorious for being corrupt at mangilkil lalo na if they can get away with it. As for your lawyer who said that your husband should have been allowed to come into the country, I don’t understand why he arranged a meeting on the day that all offices are closed in GenSan. Wala ba siya kahibalo nga kanyang adlaw nga iyang gi schedule close tanan nga opisina? Unsa siya, sleeping on his job! And then, on the next breath saying that it will cost a lot to pursue the matter! How can it cost a lot? All the evidence, the proof, supporting documents, statement from PAL are already provided by you. The lawyer doesn’t have to spend hours researching the facts - all the facts are there! All he has to do is present it in court! Again, I’d say, the lawyer only wants money, money, money! I’m sorry for your experience, you spent a lot of money and no recourse! That immigration officer should have been identified and dismiss from her job - that’s her penalty for all the trouble she caused you and your husband, not to mention the amount of money it cost you, as well! -Ava

That Female Officer needs to write a letter of apology and pay all of the expenses you spent. File a law suit against the PAL & Immigration Agency.. you’ll win the case!!! I don’t fly PAL anymore I’ve been flying Korean Airlines it’s much better.

Why don’t you continue fighting? Here’s my thought: 1. Nabayaran yung lawyer mo para i-discourage ka. 2. Find another lawyer. 3. I believe we can crowd fund to help you out with expenses for your fight! 4. You find the real truth, fight till end and hold them accountable. 5. Let them pay for damages and give lesson to who is responsible for the wrongdoing. 6. Reaching out to Tulfo is not a bad idea!

What happened to him is just one of many illegal things that keeps happening at airports in the Philippines because there are no consequences for their actions. What helped you (advantages) compare to an average Pilipino are that you're a vlogger able to get their attention, you got yourself a lawyer to tell your rights and your persistent to know the truth. Ang daming ganyang case na nangyayari sa ating airport ang dami nilang ino offload. Dapat kunin ang name ng IO na yan at ireport. Kc hindi na tama ang ginagawa nila. Ang daming hinihingi na d nman kailangan pampa tagal lang at yan ang gawa nila para mag offload. Kunin nlang ntin ang Name ng IO na yan at ireport. Sana maging maayos na yang gawa nilang yan.

With regards to lawyer please try to seek the help PAO ( Public Affairs Office) headed by Atty Acosta ( female) a famous lawyer also and one thing more they are free of charge, they are all lawyers in this office who extend help to the people who can’t afford financial matters for lawyers help. Or try to seek the help of Senator Raffy Tulfo I am sure you know this famous person who help a lot people in a legal matters. Thank you for your courage and a strong woman in sharing the said incident, sad to say that in you own country justice is always left behind due to corruption. Good luck and God bless the family .

Hello Princess, better have all the documents ready and bring to the Department of Justice and file a criminal case against the immigration official for ILLEGAL DETENTION, its a no bail case. The Fiscal will handle your case without a large sum of money as compare to the private lawyer. File also a complain to the Office of the Ombudsman against the immigration official, and they will investigate separately. Remember every agency have the employee association don't be deceived if your lawyer play different tone and be careful to the person you trust. Make sure every document you submitted have it stamped receive when you file a complain.

As a former immigration employee .Educated ka , Hindi po kasalanan ng immigration. That falls under National Security Agency.It is for the sake of national security. The facts that he exited the Philippines to Hongkong and he was rejected and back to the Philippines. It created a red flag. Do not lambast the immigration. It went to the Phillipines Justice Department. As of the PAL , they can't tell you anything and put everyone in danger. Manga kababayan, huwag kayung maghusga agad agad. Not only Immigration could deny an entry, The Department of Justice.The reason the female agent approaches you husband to defuse a situation just in case their was trouble. I’m proud how they handled the situation.

I sincerely appreciate your courage in letting the public know about your horrible experienced in the Philippines. I am also a Filipino but a naturalized US citizen and married to a US citizen. I am so concerned that if this can happen to you, then what is the likelihood that it will happen to us? My suspicion is that the immigration officer that approached your husband in the transfer are was looking for some easy way to make cash (which she didn’t get from your husband). I’m sure you are familiar with this customary but ugly way of making a living in the Philippines. Not every one does it but unfortunately that’s what happened to your husband. We used to call it red tape. I am using your video to inform our fellow kababayan here in US to let them aware of this unfortunate event that happened to you and your family. Good luck and I’m praying that you get a satisfactory explanation from the Philippine Government Bureau of Immigration.

Btw, cubicle is not pronounced kyubikel just like how the Tagalogs pronounce words that end with cle like traysikel, popsikel, angkel, etc. May be trivial but important for English speakers and esp for us Cebuanos/Visayans. I recently went home to the Philippines for my vacation and had experience at the airport in Manila, with Pal, and with the Philippine government. None of my experiences would me make feel proud as a Filipino!

Balak ko pa naman mauna uwi dyan Pinas alone then susunod na lng si Mr. At this time huwag na coz marami padin corrupt sa airport, akala ko pinatalsik na sila, heist naku. Well advice ko sa iyo e open case eyan para iyong female officer nag approach sa Mr. mo noon ay mapatalsik, coz para wala na mabektima nya ulit. Watching from Bermuda bisaya pod. Following sa imoha eversince. Pls epadayon lng pag share namo imo life story, kaya mo na as single mom, pareha ta dai single mom sa 3 sons ko , at for my hardwork as an OFW, it paid off coz now proffesionals na mga anak ko at they have their jobs. Maari po na itong IO may planong mag extort ng pera sa mister nyo..at inaantay lang na ang offer na maglagay ay manggagaling sa mister ninyo...yan na ang kalakaran ng mga IO...naging corrupt na halos lahat at kakutsaba nila ang mga taga airlines....at malamang na ang abugado mo na bayaran din nitong mga corrupt na IO ..

I had a bad experience with the immigration officer on one of my flights long time ago. It happened in the late 80' when the word Japayuki was very popular. I was teaching in an international school in Tokyo then. The immigration officer asked me what was I teaching in Japan. He asked if I was teaching dance. He probably can't believe that a Filipina can teach in an international school in Tokyo. I felt kind of offended because I didn't expect that my fellow Filipino would look down on me. He should at least be happy and proud that Filipinos get the chance to teach in Japan. "Akala nya lahat ng Pinay na punta sa Japan ay entertainer."

Sa halip na naenjoy yung plan ng family na magvacation sa sarili nating bansa , nakakainis ! Hindi kaya dahil alam nilang foreighner ay may planong hingan ng pera? Kaya dapat palitan lahat ang mga tao na nariyan kasi , nagkakaisa , nagtatakipan sila , siguro hati hati sila pag may nakuha sila ! Paano sila maka invite ng maraming tourist papunta sa atin kung ganyan ang mga ginagawa nila!Kaya Dapat palitan lahat ng mga tao na nariyan na! At pag may nakitang di alam sana na baguhan diyan sa bansa natin, iguide sila kung saan dadaan at hindi lalong imislead....Dapat pag may nagtatakipan sa kanila ... matanggal sila! Naranasan ko po kasi yung ilang workers diyan nagkakaisa , mismong ako pinapaikot nila sa isang malaking mesa , lima or anim sila , pinagpasapasahsn ang passport ko at wala naman talaga puesto na table sa space na yon pero linagyan nila ! At I can feel their purpose is to ask cash kaya ako pinapaikot ! Ang dudumi ng gawa nila ! Marami ng ginawa sa akin diyan , hinihimatay pa ako sa pagjudge nila masyado! Kaya bihira ako umuwi sa Mismong bansa natin , dahil sa kadahilanang yan!!!!!Nakakawalang gana!

I think mostly PAL passengers are experiencing these horror stories . Also, Immigration and airline companies have found a new money making business - offloading outgoing passengers for shallow reasons . Nakakahiya ang Pilipinas🤮🤮

Thanks for sharing.... in my case I had cancelled flights due to covid 19 and still claiming for refund and last reply by CheapOAir they will give me 150 dollars but I insisted on full refund . Their reason is it was expired.

@@llynllyn9595 yes mam because tulfo is known action agad and has a machinery that he can go directly to the concern people on NAIA or to phil air lines your point is only to give imformation to madlang people to imfo something happen in airport you try he can sloved or tulfo get clarifacation on you want to know what really happen or give a lesson to those employee not doing there job in the company or sent a letter to office of the president he will intertain you becoz you are a citezen in this country phil.
