please post a link or search term so i can find 'bottom bracket common left thread' on ebay and understand how that thing would help to mount the freewheel to the hoverboard motor.

@@robodurden you need something like this www.amazon.com/Action-Bicycle-Bottom-Bracket-English/dp/B018RNI2UQ# You can buy from internet also from a local bike shop. Very cheap! From those two bearing cups you need the left one (right threaded) which you can mount with 4 holes on the motor rotor

@@WhyNotCycles From that amazon image i would think that 6 screws would fix that cup to the motor. But i would be surprised if the thread would match. I guess my freewheel should go onto a BMX rear hub like www.ebay.de/itm/Sunrace-Alu-BMX-Nabe-hinten-36-Loch-prazisionsgelagert-silber-14mm-CrMo-Achse/163659692668

@@robodurden those threads are the same. The difficulty is to make thise six holes on hardened bottom bracket steel! Personally i prefer to attach the gear from the other side of the motor! Check my photos on my video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bKifg9qVu5i4d6M.html

@@WhyNotCycles now i am confused even more. Why should i want to make these six holes on hardened steel ?? The hoverboard front is aluminium. Your video does show a freewheel gear attached to the inner side of the hoverboard motor ? If so a short video tutorial on how you exactly attached it would be nice :-)

hi robo I wached all your videos about hoverboard, and also I follow your github. That are very impressive and helpful contents. Also I want a video from you. I and many people will be grateful to you if you make a video content that you have installed the firmware for the first time on the Hoverboard and then controlled the motors with the arduino. Thank you again your contents and repos

watch part 1 and open your motor. If the stator has a height of only 20mm then you have a 250W motor. 25mm = 350W, 30mm = 350+W imo (in my opinion)

Why can't you use E. Feru's firmware for the boards you show in beginning of the video.Someone used this firmware with that board before. Link is below: github.com/EmanuelFeru/hoverboard-sideboard-hack-GD/issues/3 For solar charger I would use github.com/opensolarproject/OSPController which is simple to build. Thanks.

Because those boards in my video are no side boards but these ones: github.com/flo199213/Hoverboard-Firmware-Hack-Gen2/issues/10 Mppt is not really useful when you already have solar panels that match battery voltage. Here watch my own esp8266 mppt: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z9x0hKpitKqoZIE.html

@@robodurden I know these are not sideboards but "split motherboards". I thought these type of "split motherboard" are supported with E. Feru's firmware.
