The people who owns the Luganda language are called “ Baganda” The tribe name is “ Baganda” The land we hail from is “ Buganda” It’s found in central Uganda around lake Nalubale or Lake Victoria ( colonial name). 1) Luganda ( language) 2) Baganda ( people) 3) Buganda ( geographical location-territory,- kingdom)

Yes but when speaking you can say “ Mpulira Empewo” Literally it translates “ I hear the wind “ But figuratively it means “ you feel cold “ And when you’re expressing that you’re cold, the right expression is “ Mpulira Empewo”
@JO_Artificial
@JO_Artificial 17 күн бұрын
@@uncleKas you are wrong, such a statement (mpulira empewo)is used by people who are not native speakers of the language and that’s how new languages are born. Just ask any muganda this what cold means and they won’t confuse it for wind. It’s simply people who are learning the language that mistake these words because in our environment, wind usually accompanied by hot weather.
