I lived in Botswana for 15 years and there are a lot of similar words between Setswana and Kiluhya. I can share with you the similar words. I just discovered your channel.. Congratulations Nekesa. You are doing a good job. Oryoo muno!

That is a whole book of new words in Kifuuliru you have outline, Ps. Nyangela. Thank you! And indeed, most of these words are similar to our Kenyan Luhya language. I can understand most of them. Historically, Bantus (of Kenya) are said to have migrated from the Congo Basin. It all makes sense now. By the way, how big is Kifuuliru language? Is it widely spoken in Congo?

In luhya; ise ndi nenzara , or esie ndinenjala . A person born during a time of hunger is ' named Wanjala or Wanzala - male , Nanjala / Nanzala -female

Hello Bemba and Bembe people ! The Ababemba live in Zambia and others in Congo DRC. The Babembe live in Congo DRC and in Tanzania. I noticed some similarities between the two languages. For examples: 1) Bemba 2) Bembe Woman is mukashana muachana Child is mwana .. mwana People is bantu batu Your fellow is munobe munobe I go is naya naaya Grandpa is bashikulu shiulu To eat kulya ilya

I have always thought that Caucasians got most of their words from Egypt , hidden knowledge. But I have always thought the French monde is from Bantu for person, and the word Bantu seems to be "A GROUP OF YOU I.e. people in French BanTu.

Actually the word should be lelo in luhya but pronounced as lero because in luhya vocabulary "r" means "l"

In the Sesotho language from South Africa Diaparo - clothes. Diaparo comes from apara ,to wear clothes. Rwala is to wear a hat , shoes and gloves. Ngwana - child Motho - person Kajeno - today Pula - rain Pula e yana - it is raining Ho ja - to eat
