Glad you got it sorted. Eager to see what else the 'not solark' can do and how robust it is.

Glad to see you getting the panels off the ground. Next step is a proper elevated mount. Consider having some panels mounted for optimal production during summer solstice and others angled more steeply for the winter solstice. Great content and promising inverter/charger. Mow the lawn. ;)

That sounds like adulting! Ha ha Yes I’ll get to the lawn, buy one part for the mower and the next part breaks.

The sky is so hazy compared to Hawaii.

Moisture under the panels? I'm jealous! Our humidity is under 10% and no rain for manylongtime. At least you figured it out. Keep us posted please, I'm looking at this inverter vs. Growatt or MPP. Need low frequency (I think) for well pump but specs look good and UL is a plus.

Good job know you can do it

May I ask about my inverter ie not provide 220vac to load.

Glad you figured it out Beene!!! Hey I have a quick question for you I just got all my solar stuff delivered today. I have a 40ft RV but I want to know where you would recommend putting the batteries,inverter etc someone told me not to put it inside my storage area inside the trailer where it can stay under 90°f. But here in Vegas we get 115-118°f all summer the last thing I want is the batteries or inverter to overheat and blowup or shut down. I have an area 5'x5' storage area that has 2-14 inch pusher/puller fans in it. Would that be an ideal location or should I just find a storage area inside my actual trailer to put it all in? Any recommendations would help greatly ty

That’s a tough question. Obviously with lithium there isn’t a venting concern so they can be installed inside. And arguably if there’s an electrical fire it wouldn’t matter if it was inside or in the basement. The heat will certainly reduce the life of the batteries and equipment so I’d probably opt for inside in this case. Or run one of the ac vents into the basement area?
@kingsamoanOG2 жыл бұрын
@@BeeneEnergy Thata a great idea I can just add a AC duct into the storage area it should keep the temp under 90°F during the hottest parts of the day. Thanks I really appreciate you taking the time to answer all my questions.

Glad you figured it out. I was curious if the inverter has generator input? That would be pretty cool
@BeeneEnergy2 жыл бұрын
It does, it can be configured to only pull from a generator as opposed to pushing and pulling to a grid.
@benjones89772 жыл бұрын
Not sure why you’re sending power to the grid, this could be extremely dangerous?
@BeeneEnergy2 жыл бұрын
It’s a ul1741 listed inverter. Will only send if there’s grid to send it to.
@cgutowski4712 жыл бұрын
Inverter seems cool. Is that UL 1741 listed? Their site says

Yes this is a neat inverter. Looking forward to getting more familiar so I can share my thoughts :).

Curious if you can use the eps to run whole house and still sell back to power company .
@BeeneEnergy2 жыл бұрын
Yep that’s what it’s designed for. Haven’t tried using eps and backfeed at the same time yet though.

@@BeeneEnergy I will be following with interest to see this functionality....also put the make and model number in your tags you will get more views as no one has anything sensible out on these larger models in english.

That’s awesome it’s working. What is the wattage and specs for this inverter? Sorry if you’ve already done a video on that.
@BeeneEnergy2 жыл бұрын
No I haven't done anything specific for this inverter yet. It's a 10KW split phase unit. Pretty beefy. Don't know yet if it's worth the price but hoping to find out soon!
@GavinStoneDIY2 жыл бұрын
@@BeeneEnergy yeah definitely keep us posted. So if it’s similar to a solark I’m assuming it cant be run in parallel?
@BeeneEnergy2 жыл бұрын
@@GavinStoneDIY This one can in fact parallel up to 5. And while I’m not sure it had all the features of a sol ark it is advertised as close.

What is the rough cost of this inverter? I think you said you got it direct from China. It there a link to the specs? If not can you mention what they are?
@BeeneEnergy2 жыл бұрын
This thing is in the 5k usd range after import duties and shipping. 10kw split phase, zero consumption option, grid feedback or off grid, etc. Doesn’t have some of the stuff like dump loads and ac Solar inverter interaction the sol ark does though.
@3beltwesty2 жыл бұрын
@@BeeneEnergy Wow that price is up there! Here I got 3 surplus Delta H6's to experiment with but none are permanently hooked up yet. After I got the 3rd unit a spare Signature ran out of them. Anyway thanks for the reply

Yep got a pair of those running my grid tie setup. They work just fine but really hoping to find something that connects to a normal 48v battery that works well.
@3beltwesty2 жыл бұрын
@@BeeneEnergy Does this Inverter or any of yours have a feature/setting not to backfeed the grid? Hello Mr Solar, Do you know of an inverter that can be configured to not feed back into the grid? Lets say I do not have batteries yet and just want PV cells to reduce ones power bill but never feed back to the grid. Ebay has some Chinese 400 buck units that show up under "grid tie limiter" . They seem to use a current transformer as feedback not to back feed the grid. I think the some Enphase microinverters can be set to not back feed using their module/software.
@BeeneEnergy2 жыл бұрын
Yes this one has that feature. Self consumption mode is what I call it, not sure if that’s entirely accurate. So far I haven’t gotten a good test in to see how well it works.
