Put a Velcro wrap on the throttle of the blower so when you’re testing you can walk away from the throttle to work your tests, I’d like to see if having the reducer screwed out on the pipe in makes any difference when you put the tail pipe on.

Chad, I’m a little late to the party. Question, I’m assuming the 305 is an undecked block, and with the 3.75” crank, 6.00” rods and DSS 1.26” pistons, I’m calculating 0.11” passed the deck, did you mill the tops off of the pistons to 0 deck them?

The block is zero decked. The pistons are DSS "334" flat tops ( no milling done to them) 6inch chromoly I beam rods, 3.75" stroke forged crank. Here's the playlist of the build. I just started watching this, but i was wondering if el caminos are allowed in the truck only drag race? they are considered trucks by the manufacturers, so there is that, lol. ok, back to the regularly scheduled program haha

I'm loving these video's. I get the argument about the venturi effect, but really that was the best way to describe it. You are creating a low pressure created by speeding up the air that is passing around that tube. If you were to choke that exhaust down at that point you would get some speed built up in the pipe which would have created more vacuum, but also create back pressure. The siphoning effect only works because of the difference in atmospheric pressure. Airplane wings do the same thing but they call it lift. You say potato and someone else is going to say patatto. I was impressed with the amount of vacuum you did get, but was a bit stressed when I saw the white board. What's next? A lab Coat!!!! Keep up the great work. Jerry and Emily
