Thank you pastor Myers for addressing these matters. However, we cannot just blame the Adventist church members alone for the falling away from the Advent message. It is a highly complex situation. The adventist pastors and teachers are the ones preaching and teaching these evangelical messages to their congregation, during the week , and on sabbaths. Some Adventist pastors want to please their members, and keep their membership intact. Many of these pastors graduate from colleges and universities, they are placed in churches, and they do not know the Advent message, therefore their church members are tossed too and fro with every wind of doctrine. To be honest, my observation and experience so far is that some of our Adventist pastors and their members have become radicalized and brainwashed by the current situation and direction the climate has taken in the country. Most adventist Do Not want to be on the Side of the Left, they want to Appear to be on the Side of the Right in society, according to the political climate. The breakdown , and failures of the advent message in today's society should be placed at the door of the church leadership and the university level, Some Adventist pastors were trained and taught by false teachers in colleges and universities, therefore they take those doctrine to their congregation and churches, teaching and preaching false doctrines all over the world. 🙏🙏Pastor Myers, I really appreciate your constant effort to address these situations. Please continue to preach and teach the straight testimony, before it is too late, because many adventist are falling away into false doctrines. May our Great God of heaven continue to open our eyes to His truth in these last days.

Then last night I saw that you had also spoke on this.... I went back and looked up your original post and watched it as well. We are living in exciting and serious times. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel and our journey from here on is going to be a rocky ride but we know that at the very end it's going to get serious. Good morning Ps and Atonte. We blame our Universities and General Conference for the rise of foolishness in such a wonderful God fearing movement the SDA Church. This is because they no longer teach the truth but copy outside style of pleasing the crowed. We also blame the members for NOT READING for themselves but waiting until Sabbath or other preaching events. We have books that lead us to Jesus no matter what happens with leaders or members one can read and walk with Jesus on a daily basis. After reading the GREAT CONTRAVERSY and DESIRE OF AGES I was shocked to see such truth as I never knew before. God had a way of telling me get out of the Roman Catholic system. I knew there was something wrong with it because the Nuns at my high school never behaved towards some of us like they were the holy women we were told they are. I accepted Jesus as my personal saviour because of READING not just following preachers. I had to see for myself Bible evidence. Praise the Lord for all the Spirit of Prophecy Literature. Ellen White used the term NATIONAL REFORM MOVEMENT. Check T5 page 712-714; RH, The present Crisis Jan 1, 1889. Also in the book The World of Ellen White is mention the NRA, Christian Temperance Union, American Sabbath Union, WCTU just to name a few. Pages 120-123.

The political beliefs were evident in 2015/2016 promoting the 7-mountain mandate idea with the individual. This individual had been very questioning on historic Adventist belief related to prophecy. I had multiple FB conversations on a small Facebook group and this individual scared me then their strong political views. I have prayed for this individual for years. We should all pray for individuals being confused by Satan.

Regarding the Sabbath clause, it is an afterthought, and just like putting in a clause they can always take it out again. That’s how it started during the dark ages, there were exemptions for workers in the countryside to not observe Sunday for a time, not too long after EVERYONE was required to fall in line whether working in the cities or in the countryside. This will happen again Sabbath clause or not. That’s the government mandating worship regardless of the clauses they might put in

I think that most of the problems in our rank result from the lack of the personal “Christ-connection”. We’re too busy chasing “the good life” for ourselves and our families: a better rank in society, there’s no time for daily fervent connection with God; too much social media, tv, etc, and in the same vein we forget the charge of the Great Commission, so, the enemy finds us preoccupations: drinking the wine of Babylon.

I became aware of David Read more than 10 years ago..his views frightened me then..to see these most recent statements even more so...I began speaking about the religious right many years ago..first seeing the beginnings in Reagan's presidency..I watched carefully throughout these last 40 years..I stumbled across David Barton's books in an SDA church( they rented to this Sunday keeping church and they had a library of these books there) alarmed I tried to point out this to the pastor and members. I have searched for truly loving SDA fellowship and have suffered much pain..so much that I stay to myself keeping my faith.

That Facebook message saddened me so much to be coming from an Adventist. We have gotten here because we did not heed the council of the spirit of prophecy. There should be no Republican or Democrat, we should all be ambassadors for the kingdom of Christ. If our hearts were fully for Jesus we wouldn't feel the need to choose sides, because there is only one way, one Savior, and that is Jesus Christ.

So the fact that this is Happening within itself of Adventist falling off, Moving away from the Present Truth as We know it, (as, I think I was taught the right Truths of this Faith) is Prophetic and Prophecy being fulfilled too! Many in other Protestant Faiths will Come into the Adventist understanding as Adventist themselves fall-off God will replace with his Children in these “Daughter” churches he said he has Sheep that are not of this Fold yet! Thank you for bringing our attention to focus on this very important marker in time. The daughter deserves attention now. I have been following with my attention on the pope for many years, as well as WEF, UN, etc. I saw the developing events as an unfolding of prophetic events, and I still do. I know that it is not Adventists place to engage in politics. But we certainly can object to open sin, of course. But we know where to find the remedy for sin. I am upset by loss of liberty. I am upset by take-overs of foundations of our country. I am upset by corruption of foundational institutions. I believe in our Constitution. I can speak up. But, I know that it's coming has been fortold, and I know where to focus for the remedy. But, surprise! I have always believed that the Sunday law would come from the conservative side. I have also kept my eyes on America, as well. And I have watched Protestants, of course. These also are markers of unfolding prophecy! I grew up under a conservative community. I felt they have always leaned on government, leaned on coercive measures, loved their financial gain (greed). And I do love my earth. That being said, I do not see my thoughts and feelings as conflicting as you present them to be. I gladly will spread the focus and message of this super red flag in Project 2025 regarding the Sabbath. Even though I have no problem with undoing some of the disastrous problems created by lawlessness these last years, I know what matters most right now and always is obedience to our Creator. Clifford Goldstein has a book "One Nation Under God" where he reminds us that Ellen White strongly joined with the WCTU regarding prohibition while also admitting that the WCTU was on a path to promote national sunday laws. The idea that it is ok to support an atheist politician who favors laws that promote life and family rights -- but not if that person claims to be a Christian -- is not a logical SDA position.

Remember that the second power in Rev. 13 is one symbol that portrays different aspects of power at work within the "beast". It seems religious and Christian while at the same time it is motivated and speaks by the spirit of demons - Dragon. The land beast represents the political Left and Right. It boasts the "lamb-like" aspect, but it is not genuinely Christian, but is actually activated by the apostate spirit, revealed by it speaking as a dragon (demon power/spirit). IMO, Project 2025 actually would like to replace the secular Deep State with a "Lamb-like" deep state. Please notice that "the MARK" is received in the forehead OR the hand. "Lamb-like" people will take it in the mind and will comply on the basis of apostate religious conviction. Others, like Jews and other non-lamb-like people might be persuaded by climate or other Gaia /demonic philosophy, or simply go along to get along - marked in the hand. Hegelian dialectic in operation. Surely we as prophetic SDA should stand against the prevailing wickedness? Why are you all lathered up against SDA who are as salt in a wicked generation, protesting wickedness permeating all seven mountains. MakeAdventismGreatAgain means we are distinguished from BOTH rampant secular hedonism AND false/apostate Christianity/Adventism. You do realize dear pastor Myers that the same spirit runs apostate Protestantism, Catholicism, secularism, and nominal Adventism? Mark of the Beast vs Seal of God is a question of who do you worship. Sunday takes in every apostate who sides with Lucifer, and is dedicated to "the most holy Trinity" Genuine, spiritual Sabbath is the visible seal of "the only true God, and Jesus Christ" (Jn 17:3), creator of heaven and earth (Revelation 14:7).

Well also bcuz Adventists are a subset in our society, we have to have a certain amount of people who are coming from Maga culture. People are in various stages of that “coming out” from there. Going back to the field analogy, the farmer or the guy said let them grow together until that time that His angels or His reapers who knew, would be able to separate the two.
