Cheers Ricky, I was surprised how much it distorted, imagine how bad it would be if not keeping the welding as cool as possible. I remember causing this type of distortion in the early days and panicking then doing the wrong thing and making it far worse. 🥲

I'm impressed, yes it's a Raider, I don't know much about them I must confess. Must get back working on it. I will be painting the underneath very soon.

@@bensclassicbodywork Raider was the run out version. Mechanically the same as the standard GT Turbo but had exclusive Met Blue paint with colour coded rims and trim.. oh and a Raider decal across the back widow 😉

Well, reasonable, I can manage with a single 14cfm compressor but I do have two linked together to give 28cfm when needed. They come in at different pressures and stop at different pressures. Both are single phase and use 2.2kw motors. My second compressor actually hasn't been working for a few months and I need to fix it. 🙂 If you are referring to my joke about using the spot blaster, then I have a 120cfm road compressor and pressure blast pot. 😉
