I've used Prisma for decades and have the full set, but I've also added a selection of open stock to my Polychromos set as well as I was constantly reaching for them. If anyone wants to pick up helpful/unique open stock the white is first.. I have one (ready with extender attachment) I keep with my sharpener to use with every pencil set I own.. and I buy them at least six at a time. Right next to that is the Prisma blender. Next would be the beautiful pastels.. especially the neutral colors like the beiges but also peaches, cream/yellow, greens, blues.. many of these are simply unheard of in other brands.. and they are all creamy and opaque so they go over the top of your other pencils for highlights really well. Next would be the greys, they have the most complete set of grey out of all pencil ranges. A full spectrum each of warm, cool, and french grey. One color they don't have, which I miss terribly, is payne's grey... I always wish for it every time I use them. If I could get them to add one single color, that would be it.

Jackie, have you tried ironing your pages. After you do your wet work and it's dried, iron set on wool, a couple of sheets of paper over and under your page. Run iron for maybe 20 seconds and let cool, do again. Don't scorch it. I don't know what happens if you have used pencils before you iron. This is from Coloring with Alena in Kiev and works well.
