I don't know why I didn't do it early !
Air intake - VERY important !
Air flow sensor must be cleaned one a year!
Air filter - high flow, washable.
Before you spend money clean throttle body! if cost nothing!
I had some kind of feeling that my car is not rolling when I release gas pedal and I always have to press gas even going downhill. I think its related to air flow.
No more hesitation (i had a bit), gears switching when it should. I may had multiple issues (if you saw my first video) but through body definitely one of them.

Thank you for this Victor. My 2015 QX80 is doing the same thing. I did the MAF sensor like you showed from the last video, but still had the RPM surges. I'll do the throttle body next.

Try to use seafom injectors cleaner few times bottle for half tank. Also make sure your engine oil good and changed around every 4k miles

From this video to first one you made i did the throttle thing didnt do it, but got a code P181b transmission for is service records couldnt find hopefully not the torque converter from an video I saw imma try changing the fluid not flushing it cause it can start slippage although it could by change dirty and what happens thanks for efforts you did for this video👍🏿

You have different problem. I flashed ftansmission fluid 2 times, works good. Torque converter has fluid inside and can not be flashed, may take time til fluid blends, or chenge it few time and try to add "shudder fixx"

There’s a red wire in the power box that keeps continuous power to the battery if cut. There’s a video on here about it. I cut that and it helped me a little. Still not totally fixed yet.

Hello. We have shared this issue across here and other forums. I have the same issue and have tried all the fixes. These RPM issues seem to come and go depending on the day/weather/temp. I have found when I do the ECM, idle relearn/pedal relearn, things improve greatly for a week and then the issues creep back. I would love it if we could figure out the real permanent fix.

Victor. I noticed that your steering while was discolored on video 1 but on video 3 it was like new. How did you do that?

Oh, you noticed that :) I layed with it different ways, have to make a video :) but ended up - bought that infiniti color paint on ebay called "luxury leather repair, automotive leatger dye" color IN40. Do few coats taping with sponge, each coat has to dry. If not smooth or see sone dust use 220 sandpaper slightly to clear dust. Tape wood, put plastic around and behind and spray clear coat of Minwax ..i had semi gloss 2 coats, you can use satin. Clear coat a must, otherwise it will get dirty in 1 week. It work great. Im planning to do it on the middle part of driver seat.

I know you need to do relearn procedure after cleaning or disconnecting the throttle body on Nissan and Infiniti. I am not sure if it is the same for QX80. Here is good example video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fq-ZlKlhu8e4nIU.html

Im running it 3rd day, and it runs beautifully. If you saw my first video im playing with it a lot and it could be few different problems, but at least throttle body is the first thing to check because it cost nothung but 20min of your time.

After fan replacement I didnt have rpm surge anymore, but had a bit hesitation and a bit rough idle, now good
