Ati Yoga and Mahamudra as well as Madyamaka ( all Buddhist ) are also Advaita and non dual regardless consciousness, but they do no say : " It is one" or :we are all One" because vidyā ( using one world) can not be described with any word or mental construct and is beyond any conceptual category and probably only yogis can actualize it .

Response to question at 17:46: Professor Raju: Your question: If brain is not the basis of consciousness, do we at least need the brain to perceive consciousness? The answer is an EMPHATIC NO. On the contrary, brain is perceived or conceived in CONSCIOUSNESS; the latter can never be perceived but is prior to and a prerequisite for all perceptions and conceptions. All "OBJECTIVE" Experience viz. thoughts, feelings and percepts (visual, auditory, olfactory, gustatory and tactile), "come to life" on the ground of Consciousness. Consciousness is the eternal ground on which alone all "objective experiences" rise and fall. Based upon universal human experience, all "Objective experience" is ephemeral. In order to attest to the ephemeral nature of "objective experience" a Witnessing principle is needed to witness their appearance and disappearance. Consciousness as "PURE IMPERSONAL ETERNAL SUBJECT" is precisely that Witnessing principle. In fact, it is also the witness of the absence of "objective experience" as in deep sleep. Please ponder over the following question - What faculty enables one to recall his/her experience of deep sleep when one's brain is supposedly asleep, and he/she was unaware of brain/body/senses/mind/world? Even to think of "unconsciousness', Consciousness is required. The other name for that Pure Consciousness that is at the hub of every experience of ours, across the entire spectrum of life -whether we are awake, asleep or dreaming, is "I". A clear distinction exists between the "I" and the "me-notion" and to see that distinction as a FACT, is the challenge for all of us. Thank you.
