Does the position data transmitted follow a standard or is it all proprietary? Just wondering about the extent of lock-in by the manufacturer.

On the map it looks like you are driving over trees. Where's the road?

Hi Brooke. I live in a very wooded area. The two streets shown have a canopy of trees over about 75% of the road. Plus the relatively low resolution of the maps loaded, it makes it hard to see.

Good question. I don't know. I'll have to do more research. I know other radios I have support MANET, but not sure about these.

@@w2hxi see… so position reports cant be relayed/routed over a few radios then i assume. Like if radio x is in range of y, and y in range of z, x can send position reports to z through y.

Hey Vic (bitcoin?) Spearhead radios were sold between 2008-2016. They are still in use in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Thailand from what I've heard
