There’s a video of Tia and Tamera at about 9 years old auditioning for the movie The Five Heartbeats and they sound exactly alike then, I think they grew out of it once puberty hit maybe lol

Actually she's been rocking her natural hair a lot more in the show. I wondered the same thing too tho

They were originally straightening her hair, but it damaged it. So they got a wig. She only wore it for the first few episodes. It's part of her story line. Her wearing her natural hair is her embracing her beauty and blackness.

The wigs were apart of the storyline on the show in Season 1. She doesn't wear the wigs past Season 1. I don't recall her wearing a wig in Season 2 at all. I definitely know she doesn't wear one in Season 3.
